So what we have here is basically a mentally handicrapped dude up  on that stage posing like he has the same problem as Merkel?    FTN.  

I would never do this to myself let alone an audience.  Biggest thing on this sort of "man" is the ego.

Couldn't agree more. My heart sinks the moment I see (attempted) lip-synching, robot dancing or the opening chords to 'O fortuna'  :-\  (if you don't think you know the tune, trust me, you do...)

Great piece of Music .
Used An edited version with great success a few times.
IIRC LEE Haney used it.
