Title: Great Quotes from Modern Day Philosophers
Post by: SF1900 on August 22, 2019, 01:52:52 AM
Why do bodybuilders on social media make so many lame inspirational quotes?

flexatronrhoden: Dare to dream and dream even bigger... It’s your dream and yours alone, no one can ever take that away from you unless you quit.

flexatronrhoden: Perfect practice makes permanent. Strive to Be the best at what you do. Leave nothing to chance. There will always be criticism on what you do. It’s up to you and your mindset if you allow that to affect you. I believe there is greatness in all of us. Unleash yours today.

big_ramy: When one door closes, another window opens. Believe in that work for that.

big_ramy: Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together. Accomplish anything great in life requires changes that pushes us beyond.

william_bonac: Life is the most difficult exam. Many people fail because they try 2 copy others. Not realizing that everyone has a different question paper. #daretobeyou 👑

william_bonac:Life & time are world’s two teachers. Life teaches us 2 make good use of time, while time teaches us the value of life.👑 -Never expect anything in return from anyone.

Phil Heath: How much work are you putting in behind closed doors? How many hours a week do you work? How bad do you want to succeed? Sometimes in order to reach your goals it takes a little sacrifice, whether it be from going to party with friends, or taking a step back to actually reflect on what your goals are and where you want to be in the future.

brandon__curry: Your attitude determines your altitude. Remember that. When others go low, you go high. Never ever stoop to a level that’s beneath you.

kaigreene: It helps.. immerse yourself in what you potentially want to do. Being involved, learning firsthand and observing the craft and absorbing all you can, makes it easier to define what you want. It will also ultimately make you better.

kevinlevrone: Stay humble in your highest moments, stay humble in your lowest moments, stay humble is always my advice.

roellywinklaar: Don’t think about what can happen in a month. Don’t think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can to get closer to where you want to be.

ifbbpromichaellockett: The greatest enemy to defeat is the enemy from within.

LOL Big Ramy is quite the Modern day Socrates

Coach Marino has his Joe Local T-Shirts,

Big Ramy should have his T-shirts with : "When one door closes, another window opens. Believe in that work for that."

"l mean, obviously a lot of people look at you and they think it's kind of strange, what you're doing.

But those are the people who don't know much about it.

As soon as you find out what the whole thing is about...then it's just like another thing.

Bodybuilding is not any stranger than midget tossing, exorcism, self immolation, or live burials.

l mean, that's, for me, strange."

This is not exclusive to bodybuilding. Tons of people on social media try to appear wise with lame ass quotes. I usually laugh at those quotes.

It's like Kim Kardashian posting a picture of herself in a bikini with an inspirational quote about how what really matters is what's on the inside 😁

flexatronrhoden: The most valuable thing you can offer is your time. Use is wisely because you can never get it back. To each and everyone one of you, thank you for the time you have given in supporting me on this journey.

Probably the most realistic and useful advice in those quotes.

Hell no, it's a very nihilistic attitude.

Carpe diem (YOLO for millenials) sounds nice but it's a disaster long term. It's the kind of attitude that leaves you with a dysfunctional family and a shitty job by the time you're 40.

My understanding is he was talking about achieving a specific goal, not life in general.

Translation:

Growth is never by mere chance (it takes lots of drugs); it is the result of forces (many different steroids, tren, insulin, HGH) working together. Accomplish anything great in life requires changes (higher dosages) that pushes us beyond.

take test, tren, train, eat and sleep for years (nothing else productive) for several years and become a bodybuilder?

I don't know if Zane actually said this, but I've had it on my Gmail signature for a few years.

"If you think you've dug yourself into a hole and can't climb out, just keep on digging until your reach China.  Of course you'll know you're there just as soon as you see the sun but you're upside down."  Phil Heath

"It's only gay if they don't pay."  Kai Greene

When axed, "How're you feeling?"  Joe Valentino replied, "With my hands."

evancentopani: I’m not getting any younger. The older I get, the more aware I become of my own mortality and the importance of life itself. I’m pretty sure that’s normal. However, LIVING is one thing and FEELING ALIVE is another. Since I started as a teenager, bodybuilding has given me the feeling of being alive. I realize the irony here- the “feeling” of life that comes from a sport that may very well be “rationally” killing me. Bodybuilding has always been a paradox for me. High highs and low lows. You die for those short lived opportunities to prove to yourself that you are in fact somebody; that you’ve got something. Granted, there’s no telling what you might have to do to get there but when you feel it, it’s incomparable; one hell of a drug. But I guess love is like that; it sets you up to be lifted high or smashed to pieces

tbombz:
"For me, it always hurts right when it goes in. Does not feel pleasant at all. Sort of a deep stinging sensation. However, leave the cock in your ass, very shortly the pain goes away entirely. Once the pain leaves, then your partner can start to pump your ass. It feels like a great deep tissue massage, only its inside your ass.     for me it feels real good when it goes real deep.. like there is some kind of pleasure sensor at the bottom of my ass that emits the tingles when ever a cock comes close to hitting it. IT feels about the same whether your on your back or on your stomach, however there are some differences. on your back you can see your partner, which could be good or bad (attractive or unattractive?). On your stomach its more relaxing and you can just bite a pillow and let the good times roll"
