If not for the gut and the post surgery neck look he would prob look pretty decent.
For any experts out there why is his gut so huge, and is there anything that can be done to shrink it down? His waist seems to be 50 inches....

Didn't see the.video,.but fuck, wish I still had the same drive as him. Regardless of his injuries,.and Dex & everyone saying "hang it up" wtf is he supposed to do? If he still has the drive to train oh, what the motherfuker train. at least he still has the money to pay for his surgeries to fix his body. he's already on pain medication, so what the fuck else is he going to do? if it allows him to train and you still has the drive to do so, let him fucking do it. It's his body. His physique. Is addiction... eventually he will either overdose on pain medication, or he'll go to rehab for the pain medication, or he'll be one of those rare motherfukers who just quits the pain medication cold turkey and is sick for a couple of days or so and continues to train and have surgeries and train and have surgeries until he's in his 60s or 70s and just dies on the operating table...but at least he would die doing something he enjoyed.
Would you rather he live out another 30yrs being bored? & Hating his life???

Does anybody know when all this started to happen? He retired in 2007, still placing in the top five of the Olympia and seemed to stay jacked years after. Though he always pushed himself in the gym, I'm sure he was not training with the same intensity and weights in retirement. What was the first injury and surgery that was the beginning of the end for him? Does his bio go step by the step the progression, or rather regression, of the breakdown in his body?

Rather him stop being a selfish man and stop thinking about himself and raise his young daughters, doing what he “loves” and then dying, leaving behind young children is irresponsible and shows lack of brain function in his behalf

back herniations that made him have back surgery i believe. then his knees and quads didn't look in good shape either.
just started falling apart from all the heavy lifting

2010 is the last year he looked like "old Ronnie". 2011 - 2013, he still looks ok most of the time, but is a smaller Ronnie. Those years are the start of his snowball of surgeries, aside from one in 2007 -
December 2007 - Laminectomy of L4-L5 discs
July 2011 – Disc decompression of L3-L4 discs
December 2011 – Fusion of neck C4-C5-C6
Around 2014, he decides he wants to be big again, and adds 9 more surgeries - 2 total hip replacements, and 7 more spinal surgeries from then till now :(.

I know it’s asking a lot, but can you post pics of him through the “bad years”?

I’d say he looks pretty damn good especially considering his situation. But why do swinging front raises?Just raise them up especially when doing light weight. Also front raises are prob the most redundant exercise ever, completely unnecessary if you shoulder press. But I guess with his back he can’t press.

All those surgeries and he still ended up sitting in a wheelchair. Maybe it did him more harm than good being cut open that many times.

Talk about a case of equal parts physiological and structural breakdown. Holy shit.
Coleman’s body is screaming for mercy.

Thank you for sharing my video, BB!
I almost felt badly at the time sharing Ronnie's downfall in videos...but Ronnie seems intent on doing that himself, in addition to continuing his downfall.
I don't even get his thought process at this point. He seems unable to grasp how he looks...and unable to grasp the harm he is doing to his body.

Don’t they advocate yoga and stretching now instead of back surgery?
Both my folks had discs operated on 20+ years ago and are both lucky they are fine. I would be very reluctant to let anyone put a scalpel near my back let alone 8/9+ times.

His physique started to show signs of breaking down around 2005 iirc
Didn’t he have a spinal injury / trapped nerve back then that was atrophying
His left side upper body.
At a very rough guess I’d say the pain meds he was using to get him through
Training were no longer masking his pain & he needed surgery.
DanHill ;) From there with his style of training & damaging the surgery
On his back Etc.
Damn shame what happened & he’s done to himself.
