He is likely gay to be honest.  Watch the life of the Japanese Office Worker.  That and the repairman are more typical of Japanese life

No way, Makato is killing that intern poon!

In all seriousness, I almost feel bad for him.  Almost feels like he has to put a smile on for the entire fucking day, even though he's hating 90% of it!  Imagine working 14 hour days everyday and never getting out of the income level you're currently in.  What's the fucking point?

High suicide rate.

Practically the same in U.S. - 14.3 (Japan) vs. 13.7 (U.S.A.)

And Japanese still somehow have a reputation of having some crazy suicide rate.

Why not throw in murder rates in the mix as well - U.S.A. 5.3 vs Japan 0.2, in other words you're more than 26 more likely being murdered in U.S.A.

So, which one is the depressing one at the end of the day?

You do realize that the U.S has a shit ton of dindu's, right?  Remove 95% of them from our population and our murder rate drops DRASTICALLY!

I'm referring only to the suicide rate for these salaryman types.

They work their asses off, drink like fish, get no sex from their wives, have to support the extended family.

Japs are like ants living in a giant anthill.  Worker drones.

It blows.

I’d rather be a bartender or something rather than give my life to a company like that. The guy doesn’t even have time to lift!  It was especially depressing when he said he plans to stay with the company his entire career.

Remove the dinds from the equation and you will see that it is VERY different.

Compare with:

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIND (https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=760662877710465) (much more action)

LECCO - Brutal images are those immortalized by the video surveillance cameras placed in the railway station underpass:
the scene taken is that of the aggression suffered by two women on Monday, an 18 year old who was about to go up the stairs, then the stranger moves with challenge in the underpass and pointing a second woman of 55.

Random casualties of the fury of a young 24 year old from Togo.

Polfer agents, who immediately intervened, were able to identify the boy and arrest him. It turned out to be irregular on the national territory and with several precedents.

An unmotivated and gratuitous attack that forced the two women to go to hospital. The 55-year-old reported a serious head injury.

This.  Why anyone would choose to live like that I will never understand.  If I were him I would sleep at work or a cheap motel for a few months and sell all my possessions and save my checks.  Then I'd move to either Okinawa of Hokkaido and become a farmer or fisherman and enjoy my life.  The Okinawans have a long life expectancy for a reason.

I worked at a large Japanese company where we all sat in an open office and the Vice President sat a few feet away from me.  I much prefer management being far away in an office.  That same Vice President liked it when employees came to work sick.  He once got so mad at me in a meeting he stormed out of the room.

All the Japanese managers there were company men who started right out of college and would retire from the company.

I don't speak Japanese.  This was in America and most of the people there were American.  Less than twenty percent of the people were Japanese and they all spoke English to some extent.

The cultural differences were very strong.  I think my American Vice President struggled to understand what my Japanese President wanted him to do and I wasn't because of language.

I will say that all the executives at this company worked harder than any American executives I've seen.  It seemed like the VP that sat by me ran the whole facility from our conference room.  He was in meetings there all day with one department after the other.  He gave me his personal phone number and told me to call him if ever I needed anything.

I remember one of the Japanese Vice Presidents saying he had to go to a two hour meeting at five o'clock Friday afternoon to find out weather he needed to come to work on Saturday.  All of the Japanese execs went out together after work.

Ah, cool. I don't speak it either. Not very well. I spent a month there and everyone was understanding while I butchered their language like a retarded 5 year old. The opposite of the French dickheads in that way.

I generally liked the Japs but couldn't live there long term. From what I saw, the whites who lived over there were a bunch of fucking nerds.

I didn't work with them but I've heard plenty of what you describe. It's all about putting the team ahead of yourself. Plenty of drunken suits in Tokyo at the end of the workday too. What they don't show you in the tourist brochure is all the maybe 18yo hookers these dudes have on their arm.

The Japanese women are very deprived sexually. The men are too prudish in their affairs within the bedroom.

Might be a sad nation but at least they aren’t going down the toilet like most of Europe and the US
