If only he could walk on water. RIP
-
Dude had a good successful and money making career. RIP.
I was always a metal-head, but still liked his songs back in the day.
Loved him on King of Queens too...
-
Actually met him on the golf course about 10 years ago. Seemed like a great guy.
-
In his prime great solo artist - wrote or co-wrote most of his big hits. Hard to see guys like him and Lou Gramm try to sing 10-15 years past their ability.
-
Smoking is the cause.
Seemed like a decent guy.
Liked a few of his songs.
He announced a few weeks back that he had cancer.
The “Two Tickets to Paradise” singer’s death came less than a month after he announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer.
“I thought I was just going in to get a checkup and [the doctor] told me that I got cancer,” Money said.
Money leaves behind his wife Laurie and their five children.
R.I.P. Eddie.

Real blue collar kind of guy. Came from a family of cops. Real last name is Mahoney. He wrote, played and sang his music. Real rock. His health seemed to be failing him for a long time. He was both an alcoholic and a heavy smoker. His music will remain.

How did he die so fast from his diadnosis was it cancer drugs?
Stage 4 esophagus cancer that had already spread to lymph nodes
-
For those who are just fringe fans, meaning you only know his hits, if you get a few moments, listen to his song Save a Little Room.. one of the best slow songs. Wasn't a big hit, but definatley worth listening to.

Or suicide. I don't think they announce a person's suicide when they do it because of a terminal illness.

Red neck? He was a NYC guy. Picture of him when he was in training to be a NYC cop. He left the academy when his music started to hit.
