The Scott is/was one of the people I occasionally corresponded with via PM. Without revealing too much, while I would never suggest his persona on here was fake, behind the scenes he is/was an absolute gentlemen - despite the majority of my opinions and predilections being diametrically opposed to his own. He had integrity and would consider alternative viewpoints. But that sort of approach gets you chewed up and spat right out in the ThunderDome, as we all know, so is best kept to oneself...
I regret to say that I've had radio silence for nearly two and a half months now. I sincerely hope it's just because he's on sabbatical, but.... ... ...

Did he really? ??? Because there are at least 3 other people in this thread alone who the dude openly hate-stalked and all of them pretty much just ignored his posts as much as possible. When he was stalking me, that's pretty much what I did, with the exception being the times I responded to him out of pity or frustration. (Like when people respond to my Junk Foodity reviews.)
I get that there are certain things that getbig likes to mythologize, but when some people take time off from this place, you assume they're doing shit, enjoying life, gaining perspective,etc. Just based on his posts, those things are pretty unlikely in his case. And that's not me being a dick. This is the second thread like this, and pretty much everyone posted as much.

Bro, I was in the asian market last week and even though I'm on my low carb ish, I still check out the snacks there because it's like they're from an alternate dimension.
I saw these things and had to give them a shot.

I was going to do a special edition review, but decided against it because most people probably aren't gonna have access to these.

Scott is a good guy. He was friends with another former member of the forum whom I valued dearly.
