Calories maxed out to the point where your almost getting acid reflux is a decent gauge and or hunger is satisfied

1 or 2 sets is simply not enough

i tried full body everyday when i was out of work for 2 months . Strength stayed the same very annoying
I think one or 2 sets work if calories are high and you are active 'manual labor longish hours on feet

correct its not rocket science 2 warm ups for most body parts them min 5 sets change things up every few work outs

Yes you can grow bigger and stronger with 1 or 2 working sets. By working I mean the ones closest to failure.
The pyramid method, around since forever, pretty much does this. I found through years of trial and error that 4-5 sets of 6-8 reps, working up in weight, works wonders. The method is a built in warmup and accounts for "bad days"- you just peak at a lower weight.
