Still got the arm. Not sure how he’d do in a game, especially after a few years out of the league. If he was worth the headache, someone would’ve signed him. But, like Ray Rice, his talent and skill had fallen off and he became small and useless to us now.

“I’ve been ready for three years, I’ve been denied for three years,” Kaepernick told assembled media following a 40-minute workout. “We all know why I came out here: to show you today, in front of everybody, we have nothing to hide. So we’re waiting for the 32 owners, the 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them, to stop running. Stop running from the truth, stop running from the people.”

Well, after reading that pretty sure this is just a way for his lawyers to establish cause for a lawsuit.

Just read the story. So, 30 minutes before the workout he announces that he’s not going to show up and that he will be working out at a high school and that everyone including the media can attend. The dude only wanted the camera time and didn’t care about getting a job.

Being ready for practice is one thing, game speed is a whole other animal.

In an ironic twist of events Kapernick is denied entry into any of the teams in the NFL due to wear and tear of his knee's.

In the NFL, if you're good enough, you can have dogs fight and kill one another, and be signed back on to a $100M 5-year contract?  Is that how it works, ethics-wise, in the NFL?

As for this loser, did anyone tell this loser there are numerous non-White-ran third world countries he was welcome to live in?  Why did he just HAVE to remain in the society he claimed was oppressive?  ::)

What an attention whore.

But, like most if his kind, he is only doing what the cucks in charge are allowing him to do.

Denver offered him a contract years ago but he turned it down.

He doesn't need to play anymore with his Nike money.

This was just a stunt to get him media exposure.

You should read the whole story not the NFL provided facts.

He asked for provisions in the “allegedly” standard contract the NFL has combine participants sign, the NFL said no so CK refused to use their provided facilities.

All of this is nonsense. The league is trying to protect itself from another collusion lawsuit so they held this horse and pony show to get Kaepernick to sign legal documents that would “ free” them from the law suit.

This all could have been settled by the commissioner calling a team and having them bring CK for a training camp spot and then cutting him for whatever reason instead he’s been out of the league because of his political views, whether we agree with them or not.

And before anyone chimes in with the skill depreciation nonsense please remember that Luke Faulk started games for the Jets this year and last season the Redskins signed Josh Johnson to start at QB after he had been out of the league for 3 years.

Wrong.

Denver offered to trade for him if he took a cut on his guarantee from $14 million to $7 million. At the time he was still rehabbing from an injury that wouldn’t allow him to be ready to start the season. At the end of that year he was a free agent and Denver did not offer him a contract, nor did any other team.

Complete media attention hog.  Acts like a prince, screams when no one wants him because he disrupts the game and protests on the job instead of his own private time, changes on a whim where he wants the NFL scouts to watch him, so that he can complain no one came.  Like a YouTube star, needs the media to get pics for publicity instead of actually playing on a team basis.

Ron there was a lot wrong with this workout being conducted by the NFL.

The biggest issue was that it was being held on a Saturday, NFL (individual teams) leadership is locked in for Sunday’s game with travel and final walk through/ game plans. This involves all coaches and the GM’s so the won’t be attending. Scouts are at college games on Saturday so those people wouldn’t be there.

Because of the above mentioned reasons teams generally use Tuesday to hold “tryouts” and to bring players in. The NFL, as an organization, has never done a free agent workout for one player’ let alone during the season.

People can have their feelings about Kaepernick but this publicity stunt was

So, are you saying Denver did not offer him an opportunity to play on the Broncos at a reduced contract?

Because that's exactly what they did.

They didn't offer him $14 million because he wasn't worth it.

 ::)

You should be a financial advisor or a player agent.

You’re saying the Broncos offer was better than the 49ers? Denver “offered” Kaepernick a contract while he was under a contract with another team, that was less than half of what he was guaranteed,  a team that he started 12 games and finished the season as the starter for that year.

Do you think Kaepernick would still be in the NFL if he played for Denver?
*actually he might be given the state of Denver’s quarterbacks.

I said Denver offered him a contract and an opportunity to play.

He turned them down.

Copperdick thinks he deserves starting Qb pay.  He doesn't.

NFL defenses are racist for not allowing Kaepernick to read them.

He was under contract with the 49ers when Denver was interested in trading for him, Denver wanted him to take a substantial pay cut. He didnt think it was a reasonable deal considering he would be the starter for San Francisco.

You're making it seem like Denver offered to sign him as a free agent, that never happened. CK was under contract and had the opportunity to play in San Francisco. Denver didnt offer anything better than what he had, this was before he started kneeling btw.

It doesnt matter, I agree Kaepernick isnt interested in playing, hes more interested in being a "martyr" and a name behind a movement/idea.

Dude isnt innocent with his decisions but the NFL is tone deaf with its actions.

Plenty of good players arent in the NFL; Tebow, Greg Hardy, Aldon Smith, ect...  instead of saying Kaepernick is a distraction for teams or that he violated rules about adherence to the anthem or whatever reason the league keeps his name in headlines.

Half-white Copperdick gets adopted by well-adjusted white suburban family who provide him with stable home and opportunities.

Copperdick feels guilty about not being black enough so gets all tatted up, goes thug, grows major league afro, consorts with Muslims, pulls racist card, sh*ts on flag-anthem-country, can't understand why NFL teams won't hire him.

Family that adopted him can't figure out what went wrong.
