Here's my best impression with a little bit of a noir twist -
"Fetch my slippers and the goddamned bunny suit!" Daddy croaked from deep in the upstairs bedroom. Billy knew the drill, ever since Daddy saw that California boy in the pink ass-less monstrosity, he'd become obsessed. So here Billy was in middle of a cold Oregon winter, searching in the closet for the ragged blue bunny suit Daddy bought from "Claussen's Costumes For Less" on Main. It was a threadbare thing, with one ear gone limp, but what Daddy wants, Daddy gets.
The slippers would be easy, the black goatskin sized 13's were always next to Daddy's door. Billy snickered, he'd once seen them called "Opera slippers" in the Sears Wish Book that came to the house around this time. Daddy would be so pissed if he'd heard them called that, the Opera was for queers.
Billy nudged open the bedroom door, Daddy was laying there with his laptop on his hairy chest. He swiveled his head to look at Billy. His mustache had long since gone grey, and time had stolen most of his hair, but you could still tell he was a powerful man. "Took you long enough. Come help me get on my slippers Bill" he bellowed.
Billy wandered over, taking note of all the calluses, veins, and sinewy tendons. "You like that Billy? That's a working man's foot". Billy took Daddy's feet one at a time, and inserted them into the slippers. "Opera shoes" he thought, and stifled a laugh.
"What are you snickering about? Get dressed!"
"Daddy, I love you, I'm not wearing the suit. It smells like piss".
Daddy seized him by the scruff, "Jesus was filled with love too, but that didn't stop them from nailing him up. Now get that fucking bunny suit on.....!" He barked. "
