Ravens are looking at home field advantage, they beaten the biggest/best teams in the NFL this 2019 season
-
I think they will get stopped in the AFC playoffs/get figured out. Still the Patriots until they lose, imo.
Depending on how it shapes up/matchup, I think it'll be Chiefs/Patriots in AFC championship.
Big fan of the Vikings my whole life so hope they can do it, but (as usual) Cook is injured again.
-
Patriots will do what they did last year. They'll try to run 17 play drives, just small runs and passes to eat up as much clock as possible. Running a bunch of confusing routes. Brady seems to have lost his touch but his O-line has been giving him plenty of time, without that O-line this might have been his last season. I think Lamary Jackson will choke in the playoffs.
I think SF is in trouble, too many injuries and the Saints seems to be rolling.
My prediction-
SF vs. Saints
Baltimore vs. NE
Saints over NE in the SB.
-
This year it will be either the Saints or 49ers
-
Dallas and Philadelphia are both 7-7 and they are playing each other right now. The NFC east is still up for grabs. These 2 teams will get stomped in the playoffs.

That’s what they said about the giants in 2007, and 2011. And that’s what they said about the eagles in 2017
Not saying they are going to win the sb but in the nfl you never know
-
They beat Cleveland today 31-15.

I hear you.
I saw a very damning stat... with the exception of one team (Rams), Dallas only beats teams that have losing records.
And I don’t think that they have beaten a team that is heading to the playoffs (the Rams have been eliminated from the playoffs, although they did have a winning record earlier in the season)
-
The Eagles field goal kicker Jake Elliott has missed 2 field goals today. That is not a good sign, even if the Eagles win this game.
-
I will ride with that Pats until Brady and Belichick leave. Ravens look to be the obvious winners but stranger things have happened.

I’ve watched a few of the Ravens games this year and was not super impressed. I mean, they barely beat the Bills. The Bills are good. But they don’t score a lot of points.
-
And Dallas just lost a must-win game. Dak didn’t throw a touchdown pass. Elliot didn’t have rushing touchdown... he only had 47 yards rushing. The had to settle for 3 field goals. Cowboys are a hot mess.

yes, a lot of teams look good going into the post-season, but for some reason, I always feel like comes 1st week of February, a team from foxborough will hold the trophy and tell everyone else to fuckoff and kiss their asses.....
-
Ravens will beat The Pats Im guessing, * Pats don't look SB ready, though Ive only watched a couple of games. (I watch the 10 minute post-game wrap-up highlights).
Seemed to have a decent game against Buffalo, but peaking late (maybe too late).
* Though I said that in 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well, and they made it there all 3 of those seasons.
"Is what it is" according to Grumpy Bill.

Don’t sleep on the Kansas City Chiefs either

I think if the Chiefs win their first game, they get NE in Divisional.
I don't think Chiefs / Pats AFC can happen.

Gotcha, wasn't sure how it would pan out after or before this last Sunday.
I hope Mahomes makes it to the super bowl. Everyone is all over Lamar Jackson (and I do like watching him) but Mahomes is the best QB to me.
-
I’ll b surprised if the Ravens win the Super Bowl .....
-
ESPN is not included in regular cable packages so I never watch MNF anymore.
it seems like ESPN is mainly talk shows anymore anyways. which I am not a fan of, I did like the randomness of ESPN in the 1980s and 1990s.

Well, if the Chiefs do win, it looks like NE might actually have a hard path to the SB for once.
Mahomes / Jackson would be a heck of an AFC games, if it works out.

Please see my thread on this in the sports discussion board. I predicted this already, Tres.

Ravens are in big trouble right now. Losing in the 4th quarter to the Tennessee Titans.

Ravens have been eliminated.
Titans beat the Patriots and the Ravens. Who’s next?

Solid predictions.
NOT

What happens when you had an offense rolling then shit it down for 3 weeks. Idiot coaches have done this many times and rest their team too much then look like shit when they come back.
-
Embarrassing loss at home.
What’s the point of home field advantage? Ravens were probably overconfident
-
Fuck the NFL.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled fawning... ;D
-
Stop Lamars running game and he looks like a 2nd string quarterback.

It was my fear and exactly why I didn’t attend this game.

My thoughts exactly. Sports are for blue pilled simps.

And NFL defenses ALWAYS find a way to neutralize that. How many times have we had the next “Phenom”? There is usually an OUTSTANDING season and then the next year it’s a gutterball? RG3 - etc. etc.
-
i don't watch the NFL but told someone you can't win a SB with a young Mike Vick type QB. Some DC was going to figure him out for 60 mins. The rest of the league will use the scheme next season. I'd advise him to go a passing university during the offseason and work on bullet, touch, timing and lob drills, to RB drills. Also, learn to read coverage, not which whole to run through.

Yep. He's 0-2 in the playoffs now. There were sports media guys calling him the greatest QB ever a few weeks ago. ::)
-
That’s why Tom Brady is the greatest, almost 20 years of dominance, will never be repeated ever
-
Their while offense looked like shit. Jackson was missing target after target. Looked horrible from the long rest. A 22 year old QB with so much momentum shouldn’t have sat for 3 weeks. It killed all momentum. This loss is on another scared coach who sits players in fear or injury. It’s football. You will get injured in practice. Players are less likely to get injured when they play and stay loose than sitting for weeks. The break helped the 49ers who were banged up but Baltimore was healthy and rolling. Manning would have won another super bowl or two if he didn’t make the same mistake when they had great seasons then sit for 3 weeks and look rusty and off when you get back.
-
They should have run Jackson more.
Too much passing.
-
Playoff football is won from the pocket. Always has been and always will be.
And Lamar is a trainwreck in the pocket.
TN did exactly what San Diego did to him last year. The exact same thing.
And whoever plays him in the playoffs next year will too.
You can win regular season games with a QB like him, and make nice sparkly Sportscenter highlights, but you won't win the games that matter.
-

Too much shitty/sidearm passing.
fixed

This. He’s a very accurate passer, as evidenced by his regular season numbers, but when the defenses are fast and good in the playoffs you need to be able to read defenses. Shit, for that matter, you have to be able to just read. Word was he scored a 7 on the Wonderlic.
-

Too much passing.
The ends stayed wide and the interior shot the gaps on him. They just stayed discipline for 60 mins. I'm assuming Ravens were front runners all season. It's a bitch to play from 14 down with a wishbone offense, LOL, unless you are Barry Switzer.

He had a lot of passing yardage b/c they gave him throws between the 20s.

That and he had 3 huge games against the worst teams in the league, really inflated his stats. On the flip side. That Derrick Henry is a fucking beast. I would hate to have to tackle him. It's probably like running into a wall that can hit you back twice as hard.

You could just answer (c) on every answer and score better than that. :-[

KC will have their turn to choke. This Super Bowl is looking like a real snooze fest. Especially with shakira and Jennifer Lopez doing the halftime. Only way I would find that entertaining is if they took a double dildo together.
-
Houston Texans just scored 3 touchdowns. The Chiefs are in trouble. And it’s still the 1st quarter. 21-0 😮

Why do they always get entertainers at least 10 years past their prime for the Super Bowl?

They want safe.

They want safe.
It's less safe. One of those old entertainers could break a hip.
-
They want safe.
I can't watch the game due to work today. Ugh, couldn't call out!!
-
Damn. The Chiefs just scored 4 unanswered touchdowns
-
As long as neither the Seahawks or Packers win, it'll be a good year. Seahawks and Rodgers rub me the wrong way. Rodgers never used to but has gotten more and more of a grump/punk over the years.

Rodgers is boring as hell in those non-stop State Farm commercials
-
Can you imagine how many State Farm commercials there will be if the Packers play the Chiefs?
