I hope he pardons everyone caught up in the Russian Manchurian Candidate hoax.
Trump says Stone and Flynn faced ‘very unfair’ treatment, amid pardon speculation
By Ronn Blitzer | Fox News
President Trump expressed sympathy Tuesday toward former associates Roger Stone and Michael Flynn over what he called their "very unfair" treatment as they await sentencing in their criminal cases -- amid speculation over whether he might consider pardons in connection with the Russia investigation he calls a "witch hunt."
Stone's sentencing for crimes including witness tampering, obstruction and providing false statements to Congress is currently set for Feb. 20, 2020. He faces up to 50 years in prison. When asked about getting involved, Trump was noncommittal.
"Am I going to pardon him? Well, I hadn't thought of it," Trump told reporters Tuesday morning in Florida after a Christmas Eve call with troops stationed around the world. "I think it's very tough what they did to Roger Stone compared to what they do to other people on their side."
Trump went on to distance his campaign from Stone, whose conviction stems from communications related to WikiLeaks and their release of Democratic emails that were hacked by Russia.
"You know Roger Stone was not involved in my campaign in any way, other than the very, very beginning before I think ... long before I announced," Trump said. Stone left the campaign in the summer of 2015, although former senior Trump campaign member Rick Gates testified at Stone's trial that he overheard a phone conversation between Stone and Trump in July 2016.
"He’s a good person, and what they did to him was very unfair, in my opinion, and what they did to General Flynn is very unfair in my opinion," Trump went on, referring to former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, who is awaiting a Jan. 28, 2020 sentencing for lying to investigators. Flynn reached a deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty and cooperating with authorities in cases related to the Russia probe. But his sentencing has been repeatedly delayed, his defenders say he was mistreated by the FBI and his lawyer has been fighting back in court.
Another Trump associate, former campaign manager Paul Manafort, is also the subject of pardon speculation after a state case against him in New York was dismissed on double jeopardy grounds. Presidential pardon power does not extend to state cases, but with that no longer hanging over Manafort's head for now, Trump could theoretically pardon him for his federal convictions for financial crimes related to work done in Ukraine.
The president was quick to remind reporters Tuesday that the Flynn and Stone cases spun out of the Russia investigation, which was recently revealed in a Justice Department Inspector General's report to have had significant evidentiary errors and omissions related to the FBI's Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant applications for former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Flynn hearing canceled after brief allegedly reveals FBI manipulated interview recordsVideo
Trump referred to the FBI officials involved in the controversy as "dirty cops," and expressed a strong desire to fight back against them.
“These were dirty people, these were bad people, these were evil people and I hope that some day I’m going to consider it my greatest or one of my greatest achievements, getting rid of them. Because we have no place in our country for people like that," Trump said.
House Democrats indicated in court filings Monday that they may still use information related to the Russia investigation to add new articles of impeachment, if they can secure the testimony of former White House Counsel Don McGahn and the release of grand jury information from Mueller's probe. In the meantime, the two articles of impeachment already approved by the House remain in limbo as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has yet to deliver them to the Senate. Both she and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., claim they are waiting for the other to take action so the process can move forward, with McConnell stating they are at an "impasse."
Trump said of Pelosi on Tuesday: "She hates the Republican Party. She hates all of the people that voted for me and the Republican Party."
Also during his discussion with reporters, Trump addressed the looming threat of what officials have called a possible "Christmas gift" from North Korea.
When asked if he is concerned about whether this may be a long-range missile test by Kim Jong Un's regime, Trump said, "We'll see what happens. Let's see. Maybe it's a nice present, maybe it's a present where he sends me a beautiful vase as opposed to a missile test ... you never know."

You posted, "kicked out of what?" You didn't post kicked out of office on what basis. So maybe you meant to ask that, but you didn't.
I'll spell it out for you since you're pretending not to know what I was talking about. On the basis that the Senate does not aquit him. To be honest, I think it will be much better for our country when the voters pass the final judgement by not reelecting him in 2020. In that case we could say the voters kicked him out.
Okay, that's it for me for now. Time to feed the dogs and then sit down to dinner with family (my daughter is cooking). -Wrap a few more Christmas presents and in general celebrate the evening with the family. Hope you are doing the same. Merry Christmas, Dos

All these “traitorous” actions and the best Nancy could do is the vague “abuse of power” and “obstruction.”🤔

Is it normal 75 year-old man behavior? Who knows? Who cares? What's creepy about posting in a lot of threads on Getbig? I don't post in every thread as you said, but clearly my interests are varied. You'll notice I do take time out to workout, sleep, eat and, well, take a shit every so often.
Seems to me that the bulk of the more prolific posters on Getbig are conservatives. In fact, there are only a couple of us libs who post regularly. "Shite" all over anyone?...hardly, it's all just fun and games. I'll bet there isn't one person posting on Getbig that could or will actually make much difference in the big picture scheme of things. None of us are that important. We're just killing time and for some of having fun.
Here are my Getbig stats. They seem fairly unremarkable to me. I been a member for 15 years, so have you. Overall, my post count is perhaps a little higher than average. I probably post more since I retired because, well, I have more free time. What about all the folks, like you, who post frequently and who are of working age? Do they truly 'live in their mom's basement' on an allowance or government handouts such as welfare?
Looking at your stats, you've posted about 1/3 of the number of posts, I have. Good for you. I guess.

TOTAL. BULLSHIT.
"The foreperson on Roger Stone’s jury ran for Congress as a Democrat in 2012, it was revealed Wednesday.
Tomeka Hart revealed her role on the jury in a Facebook post defending four prosecutors who quit the Stone case in protest over a revision to the Trump confidante’s recommended prison sentence.
Hart’s social media activity shows she closely followed the special counsel’s Russia investigation, and frequently posted negative stories about President Donald Trump."

Barr blasts Trump's tweets on Stone case: 'Impossible for me to do my job': ABC News Exclusive
"In an exclusive interview, Attorney General Bill Barr told ABC News on Thursday that President Donald Trump "has never asked me to do anything in a criminal case” but should stop tweeting about the Justice Department because his tweets “make it impossible for me to do my job.”
Barr’s comments are a rare break with a president who the attorney general has aligned himself with and fiercely defended. But it also puts Barr in line with many of Trump’s supporters on Capitol Hill who say they support the president but wish he’d cut back on his tweets."

The jury foreman lied to get on the jury. She is a lawyer who ran for office as a dem, also related to somebody in the DOJ and posted anti-Trump and anti-Trump associate things on social media.
That's why the case is under scrutiny. What more would possibly be needed when ANY of those three thing are a dis-qualifier to be on the jury?
BUT the Russians did it....the double standard is beneath "most".

Roger Stone sentenced to 3 years for lying, witness tampering as case roils DOJ
By Brooke Singman, Bill Mears | Fox News
Former Trump associate Roger Stone is sentenced to 40 months in prison after a lengthy deliberation by the judge; David Spunt reports from outside U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.
GOP operative Roger Stone was sentenced to more than three years in prison on Thursday after days of drama ensnaring career prosecutors, the attorney general and the president over how severe Stone's punishment should be for making false statements to investigators during the Trump-Russia probe.
U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson, while taking a firm stance toward Stone in the courtroom, also said the up to nine years originally sought by federal prosecutors was excessive. Her sentence of 40 months in prison was considerably less than that -- yet far more than the probation sought by his defense and certainly tough enough to keep speculation alive about a possible pardon from President Trump.
In court, Jackson repeatedly made clear she holds Stone responsible for his circumstances, as his lawyers sought leniency.
ROGER STONE CASE: TIMELINE OF TRUMP ASSOCIATE’S DRAMATIC PROSECUTION
“Mr. Stone lied,” Jackson said. She also said Stone injected himself “smack” into a political controversy and was not “persecuted.”
Jackson called Stone’s actions “deliberate” and “planned” – lamenting his “utter disrespect” for the rule of law – but also noted supporters sent “compelling” letters to the court and described him as “caring and generous.”
Stone chose not to speak when given the opportunity. He showed no emotion when the sentence was read. Later, he left the courthouse without speaking as he was mobbed by media and onlookers, one shouting, "Lock him up!"
Stone, a longtime adviser to Donald Trump before he was elected president, was convicted in November on seven counts of obstruction, witness tampering and making false statements to Congress on charges that stemmed from former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
Stone was not charged with any underlying crime of coordinating with Russia during the election though Mueller's team investigated Stone over tweets claiming to be in touch with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
During an oral presentation Thursday in court before the sentence was announced, Stone attorney Seth Ginsberg downplayed the charges, saying there was no real planning or preparation involved in the obstruction conviction against Stone that would justify an aggravating enhancement of the sentencing guidelines.
Jackson, though, also referenced how Stone had violated court orders not to talk about the case, accusing him of “intimidating behavior” including a social media post that included a picture of her with what looked like gun crosshairs over her head. Stone blamed staff for the Instagram post, but the judge sharply rebuked him.
“He knew exactly what he was doing,” Jackson said, adding that it “was designed to disrupt” the proceedings.
During Stone’s sentencing hearing, Trump himself weighed in, questioning the “fairness” of prosecuting his former associate. It follows widespread speculation of a possible pardon for Stone.
“’They say Roger Stone lied to Congress.’ @CNN. OH, I see, but so did Comey (and he also leaked classified information, for which almost everyone, other than Crooked Hillary Clinton, goes to jail for a long time), and so did Andy McCabe, who also lied to the FBI! FAIRNESS?” he tweeted.

The case doesn't end with Thursday's sentencing: Earlier this week, Jackson indicated she would sentence Stone as planned on Thursday but could delay the implementation of the sentence until after she decides whether to grant the defense's motion for a new trial over claims of juror bias. He remained free on bond after Thursday's appearance.
He was also fined $20,000 and given restrictions on travel. A gag order remains in place pending the outcome of a motion for a new trial.
On Thursday, the high-profile sentencing drew colorful figures to the federal courthouse in Washington, including some anti-GOP protestors.

The lead-up to Thursday's sentence was full of drama: Federal prosecutors had recommended a prison sentence of 87 to 108 months for the charges, but in a stunning reversal last week, senior leadership at the Justice Department, including Attorney General William Barr, overruled and scaled back the proposed prison sentence.
A prosecutor representing the government apologized in court on Thursday “for the confusion” caused by the change of the sentencing recommendation, saying there had been a “miscommunication” between the career prosecutors and the leadership of the Justice Department over the sentencing recommendation. Jackson replied that the original sentencing recommendation was well within the guidelines.

Barr’s move to intervene in Stone’s sentencing led to all four members of the prosecution team quitting the case. Jonathan Kravis resigned as an assistant U.S. attorney in Washington and Aaron Zelinsky filed a notice that he would leave his post as a special prosecutor in Washington but would remain as an assistant U.S. attorney in Baltimore. Prosecutors Adam Jed and Michael Marando also withdrew from the case.
The mass withdrawal caused Democrats to accuse Trump of interfering in the process, and the intervention at the DOJ level sparked an emergency meeting for the Federal Judges Association, an independent national association of federal judges, to tackle mounting concerns about Trump and Barr’s intervention in cases involving Stone and other Trump associates.
Ahead of the hearing, Stone’s defense made several requests for a new trial in the wake of revelations of possible political bias of a juror in his first case.
Former Memphis City Schools Board President Tomeka Hart said last week that she was the foreperson on the jury that convicted Stone, and revealed a history of Democratic activism after a string of her anti-Trump social media posts came to light—including the retweeting of an argument mocking those who considered Stone’s dramatic arrest in a predawn raid last year by a federal tactical team to be excessive force. Hart also suggested Trump and his supporters are racist and praised the investigation conducted by Mueller, which ultimately led to Stone’s prosecution.
It also emerged that Jackson had denied a defense request to strike a potential juror who was an Obama-era press official with admitted anti-Trump views—and whose husband worked at the division of the Justice Department that handled the probe leading to Stone’s arrest. And another juror donated to former Democratic presidential candidates and other progressive causes, federal election records reviewed by Fox News showed.
