Santa paws the one with the poor little orphan lassie (have had to watch these over and over with the daughter and grown to like a lot of them)

A Christmas staple.  LOVE Jimmy Stewart.  Bedford Falls, ie: Seneca Falls is on the bucket list.

Just an aside for those that like "A Christmas Story", Jean Shepard who is largely responsible for the story, also made this film for American PBS during 1981/82. It can sort of be seen as a prototype for "A Christmas Story", although the characters are older, and it's set during the 4th of July -

It's the best.

Always liked A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott playing Scrooge.

Watch it every year.

My father loved a Christmas Carol (1951) with Alastair Sim playing Scrooge.
