Title: Closing out 2019 with some cuts!
Post by: BIG ACH on December 31, 2019, 07:59:45 AM
Pictures exactly one year apart...

Left: November 2018
Right: November 2019

Left: 260 lbs
Right: 200 lbs

Left: 40 in waist
Right: 32 in waist

Strength is fairly close.
Holding now at around 2,050 calories, with 170 g protein and about 250 g carbs, the rest is fat.  Have one or two massive cheat meals per week.

And before anyone says juice (I mean... Come on... Really?) I have recent blood work to prove it natural ;D

You don't do steroids but you had blood work to test for steroids?   ::)  You look great in the after picture.

I had cancer in 2014 and have to get blood work done every few months, this past November I asked them to check my testosterone since I was getting checked for other things anyways.  Came out at around 300 which was very odd, Doctor says I'm still in the normal range and if I'm not showing any symptoms of low testosterone (I'm not) then no need for further action.

wow I could sure use that kind of progress... can you give any more of an outline of what you did?

Sure...

Started at about 2600 calories and became very diligent about counting calories... Ate whatever I want as long as I stayed within the calories range, but I tended to consume "healthier foods" only because they filled me up more.   If I was really craving something I just ate it and adjusted the calories for the rest of the day.
Whenever I hit a plateau with the weight loss I would drop about 100-200 calories.
My goal was to keep protein around 1 g per lbs of lean bodyweight.  (So around 170).  Everything else were carb sources and a little bit of fat.  If I was under 170 g of protein, (like 160 or 150 or even less) I don't really sweat it... Although more often than not I'm over by 10-20 g.

The biggest thing for me to make this sustainable was that I couldn't do the low to no carb again like I did when I dieted for shows.  And this current setup works perfectly.

I didn't start adding in cheat meals until later when I was around 215 lbs.  Usually a big ass pizza and some cookies but it varies.

Oddly enough the number one thing I miss is a venti white chocolate mocha from Starbucks which is 620 calories. So I started ordering it with almond milk and Splenda. Dropping the venti calories down to 380... Again, I get this from time to time. Not every day!

For training I get up at 4 am and hit the gym on an empty stomach while sipping NO Xolode.

Cardio is 5X week. 30 mins Elliptical HIIT training (2 mins level 1 resistance at level 5 incline, then 2 mins level 15 resistance at level 10 incline, and alternating back and forth)

Weight training is 5X week 1 to 1.5 hr per day.  Typical old school bro split (one body part per day)

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Most doctors don't know shit about testosterone.

"In general, the normal range in males is about 270-1070 ng/dL with an average level of 679 ng/dL. A normal male testosterone level peaks at about age 20, and then it slowly declines. Testosterone levels above or below the normal range are considered by many to be out of balance. Moreover, some researchers suggest that the healthiest men have testosterone levels between 400-600 ng/dL."

Yeah, by some measures your 300 ng/dl test levels are considered normal....barely. Has your testosterone increased since losing weight? It should have. Exercise and good health tends to boost testerone. If I were you, I'd question anything below 500 ng/dl.

"What are the benefits of higher than normal testosterone levels?

Examples of benefits, which are modest, of men having higher than average testosterone levels include that

it normalizes blood pressure and
it lowers the likelihood of obesity and heart attacks"

Yes - Hebrews have higher blood serum testosterone levels, on average.

I think that accounts for their football success.  Possibly heavier bones too?  Would be good for football, but bad for swimming, which is consistent with Hebrew sporting results.

In hockey, Hebrews will excel with heated rinks, I would say.

People with better genes in general need to start reproducing.  I would be satisfied if everyone having kids was able to take care of and support their children - then naturally, we would see more people born who themselves can support children.

We basically have a form of dysgenics going on right now in the West, where there are incentives given to people to reproduce who otherwise probably should not be.

Of course, in the current status of political correctness, it's impossible to even state that Hebrews have superior sprinting genes.  It really puts me in a foul food when I can't even state something as obvious as that [+ basketball + football, these only being the obvious examples].

More and more, we aren't "allowed" to talk about anything.

Matt do you know the power and benefits of boron?

Not at all.  Please share.

My endocrinologist said the numbers regarding testosterone are made up with heavy influence from the testosterone pharmaceutical companies. I was around 300. He said to me you're muscular and have a good sex drive according the answers I gave him. He also said supplementing with testosterone changes the viscosity of your blood that leads to increased risk of heart attacks and strokes. He also added he isn't sure that the change in the thickness of the blood is a full explanation but the stats are clear on the increased risk. Of course the pharmaceutical companies pushing testosterone for older men have their own sponsored studies that dispute this. He also added that he sees many out of shape guys with a low sex drive that want supplemental testosterone but the blood work shows their testosterone is high according to the standards. His recommendation was to keep my body lean and to keep working out.

It also might lead to a greater propensity to rape as well.

Why PM? Share the secrets for all.

On its own Boron (Borax) is poisonous, mix with Bovine Sodium/Chondroitin Sulfate & Glucosomine !.

Big tablets = worthless crap

Increases nothing ............. ::)

I think it's safe to say blood serum testosterone level would be correlated with sexuality, or inversely correlated with sexual restraint.

Too much gear can lead to the thick blood/hematocrit issues, but its not normally seen in normal TRT doses. (100 mg a week).
Many these days call 300-500 mg "TRT" which its not. My 100 mg a week keeps me around 700-800 with all other markers in perfect range.
No need for phlebotomy.

TRT is very safe (real TRT) especially in healthy/athletic/gym rat type folks. (Who eat right, exercise daily, etc).
Many TRT studies are don't on gen-pop fatties, not much can help them. Like Prime mentioned, there are studies where the 700 range helps all things good, while causing no-things bad.
(Sweet spot).

Don't do it unless you really need it though, it is for life (though some have gone off and recovered).
When done properly, its game-changing at this age (mid 50's). Not muscle wise, but mood, probably some fat loss, libido, well-being, etc).

Age gracefully? I should say not!

Good transformation but I have no idea why you let yourself get so fucking fat to begin with.

Great job man!!!

Yes Matt, higher bone density levels. Our women dont get osteoporosis. Our bad diets and lifestyle screws us on average.  But those of us that know true nutrition and fasting and celibacy and the power of herbs and praying and following Gods laws. This is what they dont want. An army of Wiggs walking around waking people up ruining people's money because we're not fat, sick and dumb.

Matt do you know the power and benefits of boron?

how can you be celibate with such high test levels?
