The two officers who were killed today have been identified as Tiffany-Victoria Enriquez and Kekaulike Kalama, both of whom had less than 10 years each on the force, Honolulu Police Chief Susan Ballard said at a news conference. Ballard, choking back tears, offered condolences to their families. “The HPD ohana grieves along with you and shares your loss,” she said.
The officers were shot by Jerry Hanel outside the Hibiscus Drive address after to responding to a woman’s call for help. She also said that Hanel and two females are “unaccounted for” after the massive fire that destroyed seven homes and damaged several others. Enriquez, a 7-year HPD veteran, is married to another police officer and was the mother of three children. Kalama is a 9-year HPD veteran.

Thanks Ron for posting this. I didn't know she was an NPC competitor nor was it mentioned in the news. The whole island is in shock. Not only did the murderer burn his house down but several homes in the area was also destroyed.
Hell just got a new resident.

What's the word over there? This fuck knob all spun out on meth?

This is sad, R.I.P. :(

The War on Cops continues thanks to the social climate brought on by the obama administration. These two officers are merely the latest in a long list of killings, shootings, assaults and total disrespect for any authority figure, especially ones in the law enforcement community.

Heard this on the radio early this morning. Had no idea she was a bodybuilder. RIP

Doesn’t seem Meth related. Just an old kook with severe mental problems. Seems a lot of people in his community had restraining orders against him. He also had a long history of run ins with police. Hopefully he suffered every second he burned in that house, and there really is a hell, where he will suffer for eternity.

This is police footage of the police's interaction with the murderer back in May.

The report said they were both wearing bullet proof vests but were killed anyway. Head shots or armor piercing rounds?

Any rifle round will penetrate a vest.

He hardly appears coherent- Though he’s not showing any signs of anger or aggression.
It’s a huge leap to what he’s now gone & done.
Did he have a history of severe mental illness ?

Mark G. Valencia
NPC Hawaii District Chair
IFBB Professional League Judge
Statement on the Passing of Tiffany-Victoria Enriquez
On January 19, 2020, we suffered the tragic loss of one of our finest amateur athletes. Tiffany Enriquez was much more than just a National Physique Committee national level competitor who was on the verge of earning her IFBB Professional League status. She was a mother, grandmother, member of the armed forces reserve, and a member of local law enforcement. Very few people have the discipline to become a competitive bodybuilder. Even fewer are able to distinguish themselves as one of the best amateur competitors in the country.
Tiffany’s bodybuilding accomplishments include:
• 4th place in her bikini open class at the Stingrey Classic in Honolulu
• 1st and overall bikini masters at the 2017 Ikaika Classic in Honolulu
• 1st place in her bikini open class at the 2017 Olympia Amateur in Las Vegas
• 1st place in the Heroes division, 1st place masters, 2nd place open and awarded the Most Promising Athlete Award at the 2018 Pacific Islands Championships in Honolulu
• 2nd place in her bikini open class at the 2018 Vancouver Pro/Am
• 5th place in her bikini open class at the 2018 USA National Championships in Las Vegas
• 1st place in her bikini open class at the 2019 Muscle Contest Japan
Less than 1 percent of Americans serve in the armed forces. Even fewer serve in the armed forces while also serving in local law enforcement. And fewer still wear the additional hats of mother, grandmother, and national level bodybuilder. Tiffany accomplished this while making and maintaining friends and admirers throughout the Hawaii bodybuilding community.
Tiffany represents the best America has to offer. She sacrificed her life to protect us all. Tiffany: thank you for being one of those uncommon Americans who not only pursued excellence, but personified discipline, service, and sacrifice. We will miss you.
