The Strongman Event on Saturday, January 18th, at the Santa Monica Pier, was incredible, and sold out completely.
Got the chance to take quite a few pics backstage, which I will put up soon.

Martins Licis Wins Arnold Pro Strongman USA,
Qualifies for 2020 Arnold Srongman Classic
SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- Martins Licis successfully defended his Arnold Pro Strongman USA title in dramatic fashion on Saturday, Jan. 18 on the Santa Monica Pier and, in the process, locked down a spot in the 2020 Arnold Strongman Classic.
Licis, who lives in Santa Monica, Calif., went from third-place to first-place in front of a sold-out crowd that included host Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger when he won the final event, the Rogue Strongman Sandbag Load, in 32.84 seconds to win the event with 52 points.
Brian Shaw finished in second place in the Arnold Pro Strongman USA with 51 points. Canada's Maxime Boudreault was third with 50.5 points. Boudreault won the first three events of the competition and was in position to advance to Columbus before Licis and Shaw rallied in the final two events.
Licis, the 2020 World's Strongest Man winner who finished second at the 2019 Arnold Strongman Classic, will be looking for his first Arnold Strongman Classic title.

Rob Kearney = definitely a getbigger
He looks like a gloriously youthful person who is so visually striking that if you saw him in person, you'd be blown away. His features appear to be almost perfectly symmetrical and proportional. He's a homosexual queer man with rainbow hair and light flawless skin. He's masculine in terms of his facial structure and physical build. The only flaw I see is that he is too perfect, which sometimes translates to being pretty...a term best saved for females.
Being strong is great. But, it isn't enough. What else does he have going on? Does he have substance? Is he intelligent? Is he interesting? Does he have a good sense of humor? Is he compassionate? Is he romantic? Is he a winner? Is he sexual?
I've met strongmen who were so beautiful or handsome that at first that's all you saw about them. Once they started talking and you looked deeper, you were let down because you realized their strength was all there was positive about them. They were just a beautiful storefront on an outhouse. You cannot judge a book by its cover.
For his sake, I hope he's got more going for himself than just how strong he is.

Shaw had a chest cold and still on the upswing strength wise. Martins did amazing coming back from a c6 cervical spine injury. He had trouble pressing a 30lb dumbbell not long ago.

The Arnold should be interesting. Normally lots of static events, which Thor seems to favor.
Plus the rise of Mateusz over the last couple years. Kid is young and a true beast. (Unlike "Beasts of Iron" found flexing, taking selfies in gyms across the world).
Plus no Shaw this year. Looking FWD to how Maxime progresses until then (not much time) his deadlift held him back this time around.
Mateusz needs to up his DL as well, he's just getting underway w/ training after a bicep tear at Giants Live. (So time is not on his side).
Kearney has very good pressing abilities (log) I'm a bit surprised he didn't get another rep or two on SAT.
He's coached by Derek Poundstone. Who was a top level competitor for years. (Kearney pounded by Poundstone, and I don't mean Paula).
Fun stuff this strongman, loved it since I was a kid and saw the 1st one on Wide World of Sports.
Even Louie competed, after he was done reading the muscle books. (And Franco, Dave Johns, Mike Dayton, etc).
