A lot of attention has been placed on the BIG GUY as of late and I am wondering if it is a signal that it is his time...
People in my opinion had him under too much pressure as well as did not give him muscle maturity time... but now it looks like those things are coming together... so could this be his time????

Let us all hope everything goes right and he can redeem himself of those past errors

I don’t get why they all do this - And then onstage they can’t live up to their Phony Hype
& Judges / Crowd are Left disappointed.
They’d do better showing pics of them being a few wks out & Then Looking Bang On
For Comp Day. It would have the opposite effect - We’d Be More Likely To Be Impressed.

Coach also said boner is better than a prime Levrone

See him in 3rd - 5th place. He's this generations Markus Ruhl, interesting to look at, but not a top prize winner.

No pics showing

Coach also said boner is better than a prime Levrone

Just a photo update of RAMY as he prepares for Arnold 2020
-
I hope he wins...
he has been in shape, 2016 Arnold Europe was a good look, all he's got to do is bring that look and he can beat any of these midgets competing today....

I think his shape and size alone is worthy of winning.

I fear for everyone's health. :-\
That being said, I look forward to seeing how Big Ramy will look at the 2020 Arnold - I would just hate it if he ends up dying before 50 as a result of pushing his body to this extent. I just worry about all bodybuilders who push it to that level.
I guess you'd have to ask them the question - are they alright with potentially dying before 50 in exchange for the experiences of being a pro bodybuilder at that level? If the answer is yes, I suppose it's fine for them to get to that size. If not...I would feel bad for them, even though they probably think it's worth it at the present time.
If you asked Art Atwood or Greg Kovacs if they were ok with dying so young in exchange for the success they enjoyed as pro bodybuilders, I wonder what they would have said while they were alive. I just have a hard time believing that they would be ok with it. I could be wrong that.
Also - everyone should be aware that I'm a major hypochondriac, so disregard my posts about this if you aren't doing so already.

They would’ve been fine with it. Yes, I think that there is a psychological disorder at work in the mass monsters. Heath and long life is not their priority.

Art Atwood and Greg Kovacs would not have believe you if you told them what age they would pass, you should see the inherent logic in this.

That's sad...but most likely true. :-\
You would think if anything, Kovacs would have had some awareness of that.
Last year, I was watching a video of Brian Shaw where he was saying that he hopes his young son can admire what he achieved in strongman. It got me thinking...does Shaw expect to be around for his son's 15th birthday? That is...does Shaw have the expectation to live to 50? I could see him maybe making that age, but weighing up to 450-lb doesn't bode well for longevity.
It sometimes makes me wonder if these guys would really think it was worth it, if they felt that they would not live very long. I do know that Ronnie is very happy with the trajectory that his life took...I'm just less certain about other guys. Art Atwood and Greg Kovacs, as mentioned - Mike Matarazzo, who absolutely expressed regret about his pro bodybuilding career, and probably some others.
To some extent, it makes it hard for me to support bodybuilding, because I worry about these guys.

Do not worry about grown men, we all do whatever makes us happy (one would hope anyway.)
Also Matarazzo could have gotten huge without eating like a pig and juicing to the gills year round all the while knowing the men in his family had heart problems. What I mean to say is that he chose to partake a risky lifestyle and did so in the most ignorant way he could possibly have done it. And do not think not for one single minute he did not live to the fullest while he was on top, he was banging hookers high on coke dude, trust and believe.
As for kovacs, I read over the years he was the single laziest bodybuilder on the planet bar none. One guy (canadian) who worked out at the same gym said Greg used to take hours- HOURS- to do leg presses because he would fall asleep between sets in the bathroom. Whether this is true or not, I cannot say for sure, but when evaluating such an observation for accuracy one must asses counter observations (I have seen zero) and whether the source had anything to gain by lying (he surely did not.) So it's probably true, and given that bit of information, we can assume Kovacs did just about nothing to protect his health.
In short, the bodybuilders who seem to die young usually have themselves to blame.
