I was just thinking about something my mom told me recently...which is that when my uncle passed away from cancer, his blood work was perfect, literally days before he had died.
Apparently Casey Viator's blood work was perfect in 2013, just months prior to when he died. Maybe it was literally a month prior. But - close enough. Everything looked fine, but it obviously was not, as he died in September of that year.
So I'm not certain that blood work is the best measure of everything health-related. It is an important measure, but its value needs to be considered in the context of numerous other markers of health.
I had a heart MRI done in August, and I think tests like that are important, if you really want to see what's up with the inner processes of your body.
Regular blood work may not always predict great health - but it would be able to identify poor health in a lot of cases. For example, had Tom Prince had regular blood work done, he would have been made aware of his health problems much earlier than actually was made aware.

That's sad, but you are absolutely correct - in this sense, we are all dying.
Damn, that's both you and Fortress who said basically the same thing today! Depressing stuff, but it needs to be said and heard. We're all dying, in this sense. :-\
Some do live much longer than others though [interestingly, Jeanne Calment's case was thought to potentially be fraudulent, but French academics are maintaining that she actually lived to the ripe old age of 122]:

We all fear for our healths!

No he'd still be dead, bloods are only a look at what's happening with a few variables,,, there's much they miss, as said above.

Blood work? No, but most likely if he would have stayed in the hospital like he was urged to..

It's primarily hypertension that kills these brainiacs. Excess bodyweight causes blood pressure causes coronary/arterial disease causes heart attacks and strokes. Lab tests may indicate high cholesterol/triglycerides. Bear in mind the vast majority of these guys are dying from coronary events and not kidney disease.

Reminds me of Dallas McCadaver. Despite docters urgings he wouldn't go back for further check ups after his collapse.
Basically ostrich burying its head in the sand mentality.

High bp also damages the kidneys....
It's also the tanked Hdl caused by steroids that contributes to the calcification of arteries overtime, these factors coupled with high hematocrit make you susceptible to heart attack and stroke.

Yep this was crazy, he should have gotten checked out, being only 25 though you think your bulletproof.

If he stayed in the hospital and got the EKG he'd likely still be alive.

Bloodwork??? lol. No matter how many doctors you go to....The Grim Reaper will always do you in
Fixed
No one has escaped him yet.

Your blood could be fine but your arteries are clogged or you could have a stroke from a clot.
Have a nice day!
