No disputing the record, but records there go back only to 1961.

NYC hit the low 70s last month, but in 1950 there were several days in the 60s and one over 70.
Why so warm in 1950?

The actual surge because of storm Sandy as 9 feet, but the high tide added several feet to it.

The storm surge of 1821 was estimated at 13 feet, but it was at low tide (try to imagine a 17-foot surge at lower Manhattan).
Why was there such a powerful storm surge in 1821?

I’m traveling, but back home it hit about 60 degrees at night, which is bone-chilling cold for us.

On the other hand, the past four summers have been brutal with the humidity.

But so what?

It’s happening for sure. I’m just not sure that is humans and our shit are significant enough to be the cause. Shit man, have the US was underwater in the dinosaur age. Maybe it’s just a cycle and the planet is just going to show us how puny we really are.

Climate change is real.

What is in dispute is whether it is caused by humans or is a natural phenomenon.

Better call India and China and tell them to stop.

China emits more greenhouse gas than the U.S. and E.U. (+Britain) combined, and shows no sign of reducing it.
We’re going to “renewable” ourselves into a 1940-1950’s standard of living, where only the rich can afford to run AC.
The ChiComs will laugh at us.

Climate change is real.

What is in dispute is whether it is caused by humans or is a natural phenomenon.

Indeed, it is in dispute.  Cultures have sacrificed children with the hope of better weather.  Sanders' plan to take
over the production of electricity would necessarily increase the cost of electricity for our kids.

This is what matters. The short term energy output of this massive ball of gas exceeds anything man have ever done or will do. Worthy of being worshipped like a god.

If the car driving in front of you throws a bag of fast food trash out the window do you follow suit?

This x2
These climate idiots are using such a tiny tiny slice of time from millions of years
To suit there purpose - it’s just ridiculous. The earth has had ice ages & heat waves
And likey everything in between. And they can’t explain them or why.

Yes likely what humans have & are doing has some impact.
I can’t be done with this save the Planet Bollocks - The Planet / Solar system will
Deal with Humans when it’s had enough. No need to Worry.

I was driving the other day, a sign read "please put litter in its place", so I chucked a bunch of trash out my car window...

Exactly. America is setting a standard for cleaning up pollution and the chinks and the dots aren't following our example. So of course the demoncrats think we should pay more taxes, because giving up more of our hard earned money will fix the environment. ::)

It has been warmer than usual this winter in the Pacific North West. I'm enjoying all the daffodils, spring crocus and other plants budding in my yard, even though it is happening a month early. The gardener has already had to mow the grass twice. I hope it doesn't mean we will have a early hot summer. 80 degrees is about it for me. At least I do have central air conditioning for when it gets hot.

No it’s not.  Face it - other than taxing us to death for more climatebamacare like idiocy - you have no solutions or anything.

I grew up in NYC during the 70s and 80s.  The Hudson River was a brown and grey morass of toxic chemicals
that you didn’t want on your skin.

Today there are dolphin pods, whales, and seals swimming in the Hudson north of the George Washington Bridge.
I could never have imagined that river recovering from decades of pollution.
