Disgusting video depicts real time collapse of California city into third world hellhole.
A shocking video reportedly shot in San Francisco purports to show a homeless man eating his own feces, in yet another sign of the city’s degradation.
In the now-deleted video, posted Sunday by congressional candidate DeAnna Lorraine (R-Cali.) ahead of Super Tuesday, a man wearing a hoodie is seen digging into the back of his pants then putting his hands to his mouth.
“Oh c’monnn San Francisco… why you want to keep our city so sh*tty?! Save our city. Clean it up and Vote #DeAnna2020 on March 3rd!” the candidate challenging Rep. Nancy Pelosi for the District 12 seat wrote on Twitter.

The left-leaning coastal city has had a hard time dealing with the growing number of homeless people as of late.
Just last December, Safeway shoppers were treated to a homeless man on drugs using a grocery store aisle as a port-a-potty.
The disgusting incident is just the latest grotesque snapshot from the bay area, as San Francisco continues its de-evolution into a third world hellhole thanks to detrimental liberal policies.

I didn’t know San Fran could get any shittier. Went to Napa last year and unfortunately had to stay there for a night due to an early morning flight. Everybody who weren’t homeless walked around as if their heads were buried in the sand. It’s a disgusting place with disgusting people excluding Sausalito across the bridge which was beautiful.

Don't expect a plausable answer. If we knew how to address this growing problem in an acceptable way, there would be fewer of them living under freeway bridges and ramps which is where I am seeing the largest collection of homeless camps. Many of these folks seem to have tents that don't appear to be homemade. I recently noticed that an onramp camp was gone. The folks probably moved to a new location when the city issued a vacate notice to them as they most often do.
IMO part of the problem lies with our culture. It is not as common for a couple of generations to share residence in the U.S. as it is elsewhere. In some cultures children continue to live in their parents homes well into adulthood, often until they get married. Public housing also seems to be more available in other first world countries. In Germany, people homeless only by choice, according to my daughter in law.
I am amazed at the advanced age of many of the panhandlers one encounters throughout the portland metro area.

It's impossible to eradicate homelessness unless you lock them up as in a lot of cases it's more about mental health issues.
You could offer some a home, but the anxiety of keeping up with rent,bills,food etc is too much for them, so they'd rather remain homeless. Others will say no because they don't think they deserve a home and that homelessness is just their lot in life. The craziest ones I met were people with 5, even 6 figures in their bank accounts who wanted to remain homeless because they didn't want to eat into their savings.

I’ve heard Bernie Sanders talking about growing up in a rent controlled apartment. He was one of the lucky ones. What about the people who were priced out of markets as a result of rent control which made new housing more expensive to build?

There are a lot of impractical ideas from Getbiggers on how to solve the homeless situation in this country. However, none of them will ever come to pass because they are not the least bit realistic, much less legal or humane. Too bad no one has a solution that is actually workable. In the meantime, the homeless population continues to grow and will undoubtedly get worse. For the record, I don't have an answer to this problem either. All I know is that it would go away by itself.
