Age 36 on the right to 41 on the left :o. Mighty ducks actor Shaun Weiss
-
Although I had never heard of Shaun Weiss was until you posted this, it is very, very shocking and sad that a person can fall this far. Hope he gets help to get clean and stays that way. Otherwise, we'll be reading about him in the obituaries pretty soon from the looks of it.

Not the same guy.
Ears and space between the eyes don't match up.
Need cock picks for further assessment.
No homo.
-
If these methheads get clean do they bounce back to a normal look?

"Shaun Weiss -- who played Goldberg in "The Mighty Ducks" -- got arrested in Northern California, and based on his mug shot ... the former child star is in dire straits.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the 38-year-old was busted for public intoxication Saturday around 1 AM in Oroville, CA, about an hour north of Sacramento. We're told cops cut him a break after he spent a few hours in the drunk tank -- he was released and not cited.
Everett Collection
TMZ broke the story ... Shaun was also arrested a year ago for possession of meth. That arrest came just 5 days after he'd been sentenced to 150 days in jail for stealing $151 worth of stuff from an electronics store.
He ended up serving only 12 days due to overcrowding. At the time, his manager, Don Gibble, told TMZ he had hoped jail would help Weiss get himself on a more productive path.
Weiss worked steadily after the 3 'Ducks' flicks, but it's been a couple years since his last acting gig."

That’s too bad, I feel like drug and alcohol addiction is a symptom of depression rather than the being the disease.
If this guy were happy and doing something he was 100% in to, he wouldn’t want the drugs or alcohol. I think bodybuilding is a more positive way to spend your time (leaving the drugs out of it). Once people start on the drug and alcohol path it’s hard to break the habits and turn it around.

One exercise that works like a powerful antidepressant is cardio.

Looks like shit.
He won’t be on the Ducks’ roster next season, that’s for sure.
Weak human.
No one made him do it.
Now he’s just a smelly, criminal nuisance.
Hope death is near.

'Mighty Ducks' Star Shaun Weiss Is 170 Days Sober, But Needs New Teeth
Shaun Weiss -- famous for playing Goldberg in "The Mighty Ducks" -- is doing well on his road to recovery following his most recent meth bust ... but he could still use a little help in one area.
Shaun's at a sober living facility in Woodland Hills, where he's staying clean and going to outpatient meetings 5 days a week ... but he could use some new pearly whites, because they're all gone.
His good friend, Drew Gallagher, set up a GoFundMe to help get Shaun a full set of teeth ... and he's trying to raise $25,000 for some much-needed dental work and his ongoing sober-living.
As you can see in this latest pic of Shaun ... he's looking much better and happier. He was having breakfast this week with Drew when the picture was taken ... a meal celebrating 170 days sober.
It's another milestone for Shaun, who finally went to rehab in March after getting out of jail and completed a 90-day program at Quest 2 Recovery in Lancaster.
As we first reported ... Shaun's buddies were desperate to get the troubled child star help before it was too late -- he was dealing with a slew of life-threatening issues and was at one point, living on the streets before January's meth and burglary arrest.
Shaun keeps looking better and better ... so hopefully, he keeps getting the help he needs, including some new teeth.

Meth destroyed my youngest brother. Like most fools, he began with marijuana as his gateway drug of choice but like most dopers he was always in search of a higher "high". He was the best looking boy of all of us. Very handsome, blond with blue eyes, square jawline and a decent physique without ever picking up a weight.
The meth turned him into the Mummy. He would get, for lack of a better term, weirded out and ultimately threatened our mother. In the past I had shut him down by holding him and tightening my hold with every breath he took. I did not allow him to pass out but instead assured him that I would treat him as a garbage can. He knew what that meant as when I was a bouncer (I am not smart but I was working) a man told me he was going to harm me so I told him to watch and proceeded to pick up a STEEL garbage can (this is the 70s, mind you) and bear hug it until it was crushed nearly flat to my chest. With ease. The man left immediately. My brother would calm down almost as fast as that man left. I love my brother still.
Ultimately I had my littlest brother arrested (for again threatening our mom) and dried out. When he was finally released, he was able to get his old job back and we thought all was fine until he took his own life. He could not deal with reality and so ended his. I despise drugs and even though marijuana is "legal" I will NEVER start down that path. Neither do I drink alcohol for much the same reason. I don't force my ways on anyone.
Meth will end your life and not gracefully. There is a member here that thinks my having my youngest brother arrested was betrayal. He sometimes says stupid stuff just to try and upset me. He is not my brother. Many of you are and it is my hope and if I were still a believer, my prayer that those here I call "brother" stay away from stuff like meth.
Enough preaching from me. In all ways and for always, be well my brothers.

.....this thread really makes me want to do meth now

I shouldn't say this since some people seem to get hooked in easily but I didn't enjoy meth as much as others claim to. Tried it and simply never went back to it. Declined it a few times since. The best I can say about it is that I didn't feel sleepy. I don't consider that a high. Other people working from the same bag claimed it was great. I've had similar experiences with coke. I just don't give a shit about amphetamines even tho people rave about them.
Weed was fun for awhile but became either boring or paranoia inducing. I liked shrooms and lsd but never experienced the hallucinations which people claim to get. Intensely introspective, which is good but frankly kind of hard work so be ready for a trip and don't embark on one lightly.
Never tried opiates. Might one day but am put off by reports of how happy they make people. Just like meth folk can't feel decent unless they take meth, I wouldn't want to zap my system and be unable to experience any joy without opiate assistance. Btw, this leads me to question if you could zap your system the opposite way. What if you intentionally took, and gradually increased, anti-recreational drugs like anxiogenics and things which make you feel pain more accutely? Would you be like Superman when you came off? Naturally in a great mood with amazing pain tolerance? Guess that's kinda krazy.
-
Yeah I've used it, it's shit imo... Certainly not something that I ever think about or have any need to use again.
We used to occasionally get on the speed back in the day but I hated it, I can't stand not being able to sleep...
We would often get on esctacy, that's a great drug, you get high then three hours later you can take another or go to bed. Cocaine is similar but Imo not nearly as good.
These junkies get hooked because they are suckers, if it wasn't meth it'd be crack or heroin or alcohol.... Whatever.... they're junkies, it's not necessarily the drug.

I have had hallucinations on mushrooms... Mushrooms can be great fun, sitting around laughing for hours at nothing, you keep taking them though and they turn on you pretty quick the paranoia sets in.
But acid for me was more just a high feeling, not too bad, the hang over on acid for me was brutal but I was the only one who used to get such a reaction. It just didn't agree with me so much.

Thank you my brother. I've seen enough of what drugs can do. My brother was altered by that stuff and while he did not know what he was saying or doing, I did and so I got in the way.
Not nearly so bad as how my father could be with alcohol, but that is another story. Be well.

how can you say all you noticed is that you werent tired? are you fucking kidding me? meth releases the biggest surge of dopamine.. more than any other drug and all you felt was that you werent tired?
if you IV it you literally cum without even touching yourself its that strong.
not saying it is anything to brag about but common, there is a reason why its one of the most addictive drugs out there.
If you havent tried it please dont! its so bad for your body and you will waste away. not worth the rush.

Don't know what to tell you. That was my experience. Everyone else who took the exact same batch insisted it was wonderful, so yes, other people really enjoy it. I conclude that there are variations in neurochemistry, possibly psychology, which deliver differing subjective interpretations and I'm aberrant.
One guy I did plastering work for, who happened to be a drug dealer and was blown away when I politely declined to imbibe on the basis that meth doesn't work on me pleasurably but I definitely get its downside for a day afterward, claimed that a feeling of euphoria was common. I've never experienced that feeling, whether on drugs or off, so maybe I'm just not a euphoria kind of guy. Always had sort of a muted response to "fun stuff." Guess I'm a joyless prick, lol.
I don't go around pooping on people's parties tho. Do what you like and it should all be legal imo, since it's your body and no one else's business what you do with it. It just doesn't jazz me.
-

Thank you. I am certain that as a retired LEO you have seen worse than what my family went through with my youngest brother. One of my brothers just retired from law enforcement and he is much more relaxed now but I know he saw some crap that was awful.
Fortunately (?), I am too stoopid to have ever had a chance at being a police officer or a firefighter. I have a sense of humor about it, one has to. They had standards back then and if one didn't meet the requirement(s) it was with good reason. I understood but it was frustrating all the same because I was much more powerful and imposing that pretty much every officer I have met over the last few decades. Was, mind you. ;)
No, I never met Ronnie Coleman but then his IQ and lack of common sense should have kept him out of law enforcement too. He's almost as slow as I! ;D
Almost. Thank you again for the kind words.

Yeah, kinda like when you had a terrible problem and you feel like you are stuck in hell, the moment the problem is solved, you feel like you are in paradise, and the next day you feel so alive and extremely happy

Now that I think about it I can say the exact same thing about opiates be it heroin or oxy. I have snorted heroin and I have taken an oxy but I just ended up flushing the rest of the heroin down the toilet because all it did was make me super sleepy and itchy. I asked myself how the hell people get so addicted to it and why its such a problem.
In your case I would take your experience as a blessing, I was never really hooked on meth per say but the times I did do it I binged hardcore and was up for 3-4 days straight in a living nightmare trying to replicate the initial high which wont ever happen. Thank god ive been clean for a long time now.

I've met a couple heroin guys. Danny, an Aussie in London, killed himself with it. Clever enough guy but not very happy. He was a five foot nothing school teacher who hovered around a backpacker's house full of other Aussies. More than anything, I think he was just lonely. I wondered if the overdose was 100% accidental. Some lost souls there.
Another dude in Belgium used it infrequently as far as I know. Said he enjoyed it but I recall seeing him sitting on some stairs wearing the same expression I have in the kitchen at 430 am when I neglected to set the coffee machine the night before. It just didn't look like any kind of fun. Those guys steered me away from it.

The people on here bad mouthing dope are either lying or got bunk shit. Also meth is not well tolerated by the body proof is simple it is prescribed to children for a variety of reasons. Any drug which can be ptescribed to kids has to be very well tolerated. Not eating sleeping or drinking water on the other hand is really bad.
Meth is not a good drug its a great one, too good actually. Addicts have absolutely no control over their addiction. Addiction is a disease and must be treated as such.

My personal experience watching my little brother turn into a mummified zombie says otherwise. It's okay. People are different and I have no reason to lie but if your experience is unlike mine, that's okay. I still refuse to take drugs or drink alcohol but as I said, I don't force my ways on others. Be well.

You don't get the "disease" unless you use the drug in the first place.

no it isnt, a disease is something you get which you have no control over, any drug addiction can be overcome.
People take drugs because they have something lacking or wrong in their lives, the drugs are the solution to that problem.

Even rehab centers use the disease excuse to keep these people from taking responsibility for their lives. This mentality also installs an identity into a person that is difficult to break out of. Rehabs have been caught in Florida using halfway houses as sources to give drugs to those recently released from the rehab center so that they have to go back to rehab. This creates more money for the rehab center, the halfway house and the drug dealers.

Norm Macdonald's "I got alcoholism" is bullseye.

My experience was similar to yours... It did little for me but keep me awake, made me drink even more than usual and then feel like shit.
It's a drug for pigs Imo,,., the dumber you are you more you like it.

My experience with Ritalin was it gave me a feeling as I'd inhaled paint fumes and then gave me a headache and made me 'feel like shit.'
A single Sudafed (pseudo-ephedrine) tablet with a cup of coffee works far better for energy and concentration. I actually ditched the Ritalin and used the Sudafed instead.

The main problem with that is you tend to get addicted to it and eventually need it to function normally. That's what happened to me in early 90's, but it was ephedrine HCL. I have a close friend who claims that ephedrine+caffeine got him all the way through college (MS in nursing).

I remember the days of ephedrine, super strength in the gym and feeling crazy out of my mind

The main problem with that is you tend to get addicted to it and eventually need it to function normally. That's what happened to me in early 90's, but it was ephedrine HCL. I have a close friend who claims that ephedrine+caffeine got him all the way through college (MS in nursing).
I used it heavily for exams and a dissertation at university.
I don't think I could have achieved the same grades without it, allowed me to study much more without feeling tired and stay focused much longer.
Another part of it, is I find it gives a feeling of extra confidence, and also reduces fear, which also helps for studying.

This is true, but, is this healthy?

This is true, but, is this healthy?
No.
But I would rate it as more effective than even Modafinil/Armodafinil.
Those drugs keep you awake and stay focused in a very smooth way, without increasing the heart rate, but without the added confidence/fearlessness aspect.

Totally agree. When I was working in the corporate world, I would take a small amount before customer visits and technical presentations. HCL is way better than the pseudo version.

no it isnt, a disease is something you get which you have no control over, any drug addiction can be overcome.
People take drugs because they have something lacking or wrong in their lives, the drugs are the solution to that problem.
I was forced to take meth as a child. Not everyone who has a problem deserves to have that problem.

If time travel were possible for me, a lot would be changed and by that I mean for the better. And not just for my family but for our nation and the world in which we live.
But I just looked in the mirror and I didn't see Doctor Emmet Brown looking back! ;D
Well, now you've made it perfectly clear, there is nothing wrong with your ego. :) Just how much of the future of the world do you believe you might have the ability to change if you could go back in time?
I'd be happy to go just far enough back in time to know the winning Powerball numbers before the cut off time for buying a ticket. I think it is currently at $70,000.000. Just imagine how much could be changed if you had that much loot.
The first thing on my list is hiring a personal trainer. Not for me, but for you so that there is someone with you while you train not only to spot you but also who is capable of catching you before you knock yourself out, should you fall again.

Never tried meth. I'm fairly sure I have ADHD. Don't drugs like Adderall and Ritalin calm folks like me down? I've made it this far without chemical assistance, but I do sometimes wonder how my life might have been different if doctors knew then what they know now about these drugs.

'Mighty Ducks' Star Shaun Weiss Beaming Thanks to Brand New Teeth
(https://imagez.tmz.com/image/6a/4by3/2020/09/09/6a7bcc77ea1d46139b07affa99012734_md.jpg)
Shaun Weiss -- famous for playing Goldberg in "The Mighty Ducks" -- is looking like a million bucks ... 'cause he's got brand new pearly whites and he's now over 200 days sober!!!
Shaun's friend, Drew Gallagher, tells TMZ ... Shaun received some full dental sponsorship offers from all over the country after we posted Shaun's story about being 170 days sober ... but needing new chompers.
We're told Shaun ultimately decided to go with Dr. Gabe Rosenthal in L.A., who offered a full dental sponsorship valued between $50k-$100k. We're told the entire process takes up to a year ... since he had to get a handful of teeth removed back in July. The teeth were infected ... causing him pain. Shaun got upper implants Tuesday and will get his lower implants in a few weeks, but the improvement has been drastic ... he just can't stop smiling.
As if that wasn't already great news ... Shaun's got more reason to smile since he's officially 265 days (and counting!!!) living a sober life. BTW, Drew had previously started a GoFundMe to help pay for the dental work and Shaun's rehab. Now that the teeth were fixed for free, the money raised will go a long way and help pay the rehab facility plus living expenses and towards getting him a car.
TMZ broke the story ... Shaun's sober living facility in Woodland Hills changed his life, and he's staying clean and attending outpatient meetings 5 days a week. At the time, he was looking much better and happier. But, since our July story, Shaun's looking a lot more like his former self ... and dude couldn't look happier.

Good for him. Hopefully, he stays on the wagon.

Strong hair genetics. If he was balding they would've just left him on the street. :D

In all ways and for always, be well my brothers.
add you to the list of people im convinced has autism.

I was forced to take meth as a child. Not everyone who has a problem deserves to have that problem.
you were given Desoxyn?
adderall isn't meth. adderall is amphetamine. Desoxyn is methylated amphetamine.
amphetamine was super popular with athletes and housewives up through the 70's and 80's, if not the 90's. meth is quite a bit different in effect.
some people respond different to 'dopamine drugs' . some love them, some (like me) find stimulants really unenjoyable. same with opiates, some love them, and some absolutely hate them.

Actually methamphetamine is double methylated phenylethylamine and adderall is actually a mix of levoamphetamine and dextroamphetamine (enantiomers of amphetamine.)
I took 80mgs of ritalin a day when i was 8 or so for some time.

I found pseudo-ephedrine to be a lot better for concentration than Ritalin and imagine ephedrine would be even better. Ritalin gave me a feeling as if I'd been breathing in paint fumes and a low grade headache as it wore off.
Armodafinal and Modafinal are also excellent, keeps you awake and alert without the stimulant effects.

'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' Star Nicholas Brendon Arrested Over Drugs
(https://imagez.tmz.com/image/f3/4by3/2021/08/22/f387f6c3c051433d90c4d9152d4d291f_md.jpg)
Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Nicholas Brendon looks unrecognizable in his mug shot ... after he was arrested for allegedly obtaining prescription drugs by fraud.
According to an affidavit, obtained by TMZ, Nicholas was driving erratically when cops spotted his silver Dodge Journey last week in Vigo County, Indiana. Cops say he failed to signal and was swerving all over the place.
After he was pulled over ... cops say they noticed him sweating profusely and "appeared nervous due to a visibly racing pulse on his neck and shaking hands."
When they asked him for ID ... cops say Nicholas gave them a California ID with the name Kelton Schultz. Cops say Nicholas told them Kelton was his twin brother.
Cops claim they found a "small plastic bag that contained crystal/powder residue" and a pill bottle in a bag with a medication prescribed to "Nicholas Bender."
Cops brought out the K-9's because of "signs in the vehicle that narcotics were potentially being trafficked." One of those signs -- the new-ish car's carpeting had been cut out in multiple places and padding under the carpeting revealed evidence screws were removed.
Cops say a thorough search turned up several more plastic bags containing residue but no other contraband ... and a prescription filled that same day at a Kroger grocery store.
The prescription, cops say, was for amphetamine salts prescribed to Kelton Schultz. When asked why he lied to them about his identity, cops say Nicholas told them "they have the same prescription and they fill each other's prescription." Cops say Nicholas admitted to taking pills that were prescribed to Kelton.
They believed Nicholas was abusing the pills and or selling them and believe "he was using his brother’s ID to procure more or that the ID he initially handed me belonging to Kelton is fraudulent.” They arrested him for failure to identify and obtaining a prescription by fraud.

Familial experience teaches me it can be. FOAD.
I mean it. Fuck Off And Die. I have never done that which is illegal, even if the state in which I reside says it is legal. Obviously you are one who lives for the moment and therefor may well die in an instant. I know...You need to think about that one too.
Look bhanky, I don't really know you well enough (despite your incessant, self-centered posturing) to really despise you, so quit trying to alienate yourself further from the adults here.
