But when you click to open the youtu.be link, it gives you a full youtube.com link, and from there you merely have to remove the "s" from https in order for it to embed:

The shortened YouTube URL's do not work, with or without the "s" in https. See, both of these won't work:

They look like this:

And you have to take the "s" out of the https for the full YouTube URL to work, so you did have that right. So ultimately, none of these will work [the shortened youtu.be links, with or without the "s" in https, or the full YouTube URL if it has the "s" in https:
