Title: 'Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure': Woman whose husband die
Post by: G_Thang on March 24, 2020, 07:34:17 AM
Who was the fool on here who told another fool to get chloroquine? Stop listening to these Wiki experts.

The wife of an Arizona man who died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate to protect himself from the coronavirus warned the public on Monday not to "believe anything that the president says" and rely on doctors instead.
"We saw Trump on TV — every channel — and all of his buddies and that this was safe," the woman, who is in critical care after taking the drug with her husband, told NBC News' Vaughn Hillyard. "Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure."
The president has repeatedly touted chloroquine as a "very powerful" treatment against coronavirus and falsely claimed it was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Asked what her message is to the public after what she and her husband went through, the woman told NBC News, "Oh my God, don't take anything. Don't believe anything that the president says and his people ... call your doctor."

The wife of an Arizona man who died after ingesting chloroquine phosphate to protect himself from the coronavirus spoke out on Monday to warn the public not to "take anything" or "believe anything" without speaking to a healthcare professional.

"We saw Trump on TV — every channel — and all of his buddies and that this was safe," the woman told NBC News' Vaughn Hillyard, referring to President Donald Trump. "Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure."

NBC News reported that the man, 68, and his wife, 61, both took chloroquine to guard against the novel coronavirus, which causes a potentially fatal disease known as COVID-19. It's not clear how much chloroquine the man ingested, and Banner Health said he and his wife ingested a version of the chemical that's used to clean aquariums.

Both individuals needed to seek medical care within half an hour; the woman is currently in critical condition and the man eventually died.

Chloroquine is used to treat malaria, but there is no conclusive evidence that it is effective against the coronavirus, which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic earlier this month.

Damn you Trump, this is all your fault!   :D

A man in Arizona has died and his wife is in critical condition after drinking a small amount of a chloroquine phosphate product in hopes of preventing a coronavirus infection. Instead of the drug form of chloroquine phosphate, the couple ingested a chloroquine phosphate product that’s used to treat parasites in fish.

“We were afraid of getting sick,” she told NBC News. The woman, age 61, and her husband, 68, were healthy and had no underlying conditions, but they were worried about catching the virus. She had recognized the name “chloroquine” when she heard Trump say it because she had used it to treat her Koi fish.

They each mixed 1 teaspoon of the chloroquine phosphate with soda. Within 20 minutes, the woman began vomiting and her husband had trouble breathing. The woman called paramedics, and the couple were admitted to a Banner Health hospital.

Another story with incomplete information. Where did this couple get the medicine and how did they decide how much to take. If the version they took was for cleaning fish tanks, they likely got it at a pet store which is of course a wonderful resource for medicines humans. ::)

Even if you have medical grade chloroquine phosphate prescribed by your doctor, there are side effect to look out for.

What special precautions should I follow?

Before using chloroquine phosphate,
tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to chloroquine phosphate, chloroquine hydrochloride (Aralen HCl), hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), or any other drugs.
tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications you are taking, especially acetaminophen (Tylenol, others), cimetidine (Tagamet), iron products, isoniazid (Nydrazid), kaolin, magnesium trisilicate (Gaviscon), methotrexate (Rheumatrex), niacin, rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane), and vitamins and herbal products.
tell your doctor if you have or have ever had liver disease, G-6-PD deficiency, hearing problems, porphyria or other blood disorders, psoriasis, vision changes, weakness in your knees and ankles, or if you drink large amounts of alcohol.
tell your doctor if you have ever had vision changes while taking chloroquine phosphate, chloroquine hydrochloride (Aralen HCl), or hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil).
tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you become pregnant while using chloroquine phosphate, call your doctor.
tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding or plan to breast-feed. Chloroquine phosphate can harm a nursing infant.

Another take away from this couple's foolish decision is never follow the advice from someone who is not a medical professional, regardless of how much you support this person as president of the United States. Trump is not a God or a doctor. Get a grip folks!

It's not only not drinkable, the fumes can kill you. My stepdad went to the emergency room once because he could not breathe after mixing those two substances to make a cleaning solution for the swimming pool.  My parents hired someone to clean the drained pool after that episode.

When Trump speaks, apparently only adults understand.  When he says "we" he means the United States, not plurals of majesty like some libturd media munchkins claimed.

The USA is the greatest Nation on the planet.  Don't believe me?  Go listen to the excellent spoken word recording, "The Americans". It contains the truth about the U.S. and our generosity, benevolence, and greatness.

I am NOT ashamed to be an American.  And I am not some dumb-ass hyphenated "-american" either.  American.  The English are rightly proud of their Nation, they will make Britain Great Again.  The French are pussies.  And the Germans?  They're the twat of the uncivilized turd-worlders. They love getting fucked by smellie scrotum suckers like muslimes. But...  Australia has it within her grasp to be great again.

The Italians need to find their sweaty nutsacks and kick out the musilmes.  Every country needs to do this.    Every Civilized Nation needs a President Trump to guide them to their history, their culture, their prosperous future.

President Trump is the best President of these United States of America.

Fuck the cuckoldry of the sissified countries and faux americans alike.

When Biden speaks even Biden hasn't a clue as to what he is saying.   If he says "we" it could be he has to take a wee or he thinks he's in France and is saying "oui".   Common sense is needed here.  You know full well what the President meant and if it takes me to explain it to you and still you fail to understand...Well, I think you are just playing idiot's advocate.

You are not this dumb.  Especially given that I am not that smart and still I understand it.  I think, not feeeeeeeeeeel, that you just dislike President Trump and his work toward restoring America.  Why would you and so many others hate America and yet live here?  Why?  Do such as yourself ache for the morally impoverished sooooo much that you want to take from others who work and give to those too lazy and call it "fair"?

Life isn't "fair".  Everyone doesn't win.  Everyone should not get a "trophy" for just showing up.  No one should get a monthly check just for breathing and never having contributed to our Nation.  Did you not work and contribute to social security?  Of course you did and so you are paid for that.

Isimites should all be deported.  This is not an "entitlement" thing, it's libtardian bullshit and anyone whose ego isn't controlled by feelings knows well the truth of their lies.

You're welcome. It appears I gave you a platform to regurgitate how you feel about a whole lot of things, not just the use of the term "we". Which, by the way I could or could not agree with you if I'd personally heard their inflection when both men used it. Since I heard neither, you could say that 'I was talking out my ass' and you'd be partially correct.

BTW, I think everyone by now knows that you believe you "think not feeeeeeeeeeel".

When did I ever say that I thought life was fair? If I did, I was either kidding or lying. I've never thought life was fair. If it were, I'd be tall, very rich and unforgettably  handsome.

This depends on who is reading what you've written. One thing is probably true, you make sense to yourself.....as for you making sense to anyone else....this is debatable.  ;)

Whether or not what I say makes sense all depends upon whether or not you or any that read my words, accept that a red light and a stop sign both mean "STOP" and not proceed like a retard.

Only a cuckodile ignores the truth and calls it "racist", "homophobic" or any of a litany of sexcuses morons come up with to legitimize their behavior and salve their self-inflicted wounds.

Although not near to the level of Shakespeare or even Hanna-Barbera and the Warner Bros., my writing is still a play on words and in the words of Hamlet, "...the play's the thing".

You did get the part about what I have "written" correct. ;D

"Cuckodile" is a more than fitting term for the leftist scum of the world.  I am rightly proud of it although as my mother used to tell me, "Everything that has ever been said will be said again and so it matters not who created the wheel but rather who put it to the service of mankind."

Chloroquine phosphate is the same as chloroquine phosphate. They took an overdose which is why they had problems. It's hard to dose powder accurately compared with taking a pharma grade tablet with exact dose.

Chloroquine phosphate is prescribed to humans to treat malaria which is a protozoa. Come in tablet of correct dose.

Chloroquine phosphate is also used to kill protozoa in fish tanks. Comes in powder form.

Jr all things being equal do you think the fish tank version is pharmaceutical grade?

It's not only not drinkable, the fumes can kill you. My stepdad went to the emergency room once because he could not breathe after mixing those two substances to make a cleaning solution for the swimming pool.  My parents hired someone to clean the drained pool after that episode.

Whatever gave you the idea that I lived in Bavaria when I was one year old in 1945? I stayed with my uncle and aunt for awhile in 1949 when they were living in Germany. My mom and stepdad bought a house with a pool in 1958 in Encino, California. This was the first time we lived in a home with a pool. Pools in that area at that time were commonplace.

hydroxychloroquine

Used it as a malaria prophylactic a long time ago but noticed  enough side effects to limit use to no more than 1 month at a time
Some times makes skin thin but in Mr Trumps case that is not a risk as he already has thin skin.

Odd that the chemists and biologists who used to populate this website have said nothing about Vitamin B   sometimes recommended as a malaria prophylactic where the risk of catching is low.

Malaria of course is associated with swamp mosquitos, doubtlessly the US mosquito population to have fallen in the past 4 years

If it is normal police protocol to investigate all death cases other than natural causes, then police obviously left open the possibility that she may have have killed her husband.

Where is the inaccuracy?

It was funny how Fauci kept pumping the brakes on hydroxychloroquine but was all positive on remdesivir. Hmmm one can be had for $20 and one is $4500.   I've also noticed how biotech companies will act like they have a promising drug for covid, they run the stock price up and then issue stock to raise money at inflated values.  I've seen two of them do this so far.  It's all a scam.
