I have some "things" to discuss.
Mid March I was in New York, my business trip was ruined because everything shut down :(

I tried to.
Got the old swab up the nose and halfway into my brain.
Tested negative.
Aids results were inconclusive :-X

Like all of us, no. And I don’t mean because there’s no open gyms, but because I’m a getbigger.

Funny thing, we lost one order over the Rona and have been bombarded with orders by other companies. Put everyone on OT last week, 6 days.

We deal with a ton of medical products around the world, that industry has more money than they can spend.
Tourism is shit now. Airports are empty, roads are empty. A lot of people living in fear right now.
-
Especially at the moment, govt. writing blank checks on top of medicals deep pockets.
I had a very safe job, great salary and benefits, but really didn't enjoy it. New job was going to be a pay cut, but great lifestyle. You win some, you lose some.

Automotive is slow.no cars on the road.I had to drive over the GWB in NYC last week and for the first time in my life not one bit of traffic.
Try getting a n95 mask if you work in the auto body repair industry!

Dabble in it for extra $ sometimes. I’m a salesman for it.
...I use you to joke that it’s a bulletproof business because people will always be driving and crashing.
Well I was proved wrong.

I do a ton of medical work, we have hired 6 people in the last 3 months. Crazy busy. I have had a crew working overtime and Sat/Sun on a Covid project for the last month, this will be the first Sunday off. Medical industry has more money than they know what to do with it and they don't have a problem throwing it around in times like these.

I’m so glad I took higher salary and lower commission. Coworkers and friends in the business who took the opposite are hurting.

man hell naw,
I got the rona when i went to atlanta.
worst part was when i couldn't taste. I didn't buy food because i didn't want to waste money on shit i couldn't taste. just water and protein shakes.
Headache lasted 2 days, fever was one day. Fatigue was one day.
All in all it wasn't horrible, but i was scared of giving that to my family. But it was all good.

Such a strange virus, I know people that have had it and been asymptomatic and people that have ended up in the hospital for a few days. Hope he's better soon.

My brother felt like crap, took the test and is positive.
Doc gave him medicine and he felt better in 2-3 days, came off the meds and felt like shit again and now lost his taste and smell.
I just got tested again today because I had a headache yesterday, today, and a cough last night.
I don't think I have it again but still :-\

I went out of the country in November for a vacation. Tested before I left, and actually got it while I was there, and was a little “down” for five days but never stopped doing what I was doing. Drinking and swimming at the beach and what not. None of my kids or wife got it. Shared a joint with my wife and some friends and nobody got sick. I give blood every two months and the donation I gave three weeks after I got back was positive for antibodies. I got a survey asking about symptoms I had one to four weeks prior and I had some of them. Only had a fever one day, I just attributed it to sunburn and being worn down from 20 beers a day. Donated blood in February and I still have the antibodies. Donating again in a few weeks so I’ll see if they’re still floating around.

Fully government compliant...never thought you'd cave in to the man.

Vast majority of people I know that have had it have had a similar experience to yours.

I was asked if I was getting the shot, my response was the only way I'm getting a needle stuck in me was to get get high as a kite or to get big muscles.
...apparently my joke wasn't as funny as I thought it was :-\

Obviously you were talking down to a non-Y boarder. I haven't had a vaccine in a couple of decades, not going to start now.

I haven't been wearing a mask at all anymore.

I was until two weeks ago.
Unvaxxed, went exactly as I thought it would - mild flu - light headache (manageable with tylenol), night sweats, then two days super sore throat....so about 5 days of yuck, then recovery. No lingering stuff outside of mild cough occasionally.
-
I had it thanksgiving 2020 and was on vacation. Didn’t totally realize I had it but still drank 15 beers a day, went boating and swimming. My wife didn’t get it either at the time. She got the shot last February and had covid this past august. Her symptoms were worse than mine.
