A fat ass!

Biggest doesn't count when the person is 30%+ bodyfat.

Don't belittle 30 years of rinsed beef and beating the log book
-
It should be every bodybuilder's goal to have wrists and hands so big they can't fit in protein jugs :).
-
I just got done rinsing 2.7 lbs of beef. Gonna wash that down with some Lanas Egg Whites and avoid all stairs and steps tomorrow.

When I was 'bulking' for a few years that extra fat on my hands definitely helped with the weights, extra padding.

A triple Cheeseburger

;D
I've got to say, the permabulker era was one of the funnest. Wish I could go back to the innocent days taking handfulls of pink thai dbols and stuffing myself to increase the scale by a lb a day

He’s no Trevor Smith...

Steroid fat ass. I wonder if he could even fight in the ring for two minutes.

Great memories.

Still looks terrible. Jet black hair dye on his head and facial hair. Still wearing hats and over size shirts. He’s a clown

I actually looked him up on Instagram. He looks like Bluto

The internet killed his entire gimmick. Especially when lifetime Naturals came around, stayed near single digit bodyfat and were lifting way more weight than any of his nonsense "clients" were lifting.
If you are looking to store Saturated Fat, then his programs are the best out there. I will not deny that.

"@dante_trudel I turn 55 this year. I still love this stuff...THE FEVER...the banging and clanging of heavy slag iron...ME VS ME. I allowed myself to smooth out a little bit over the holidays and into January for a specific reason (leverage/strength). I've been trying so hard this year to accomplish a certain goal of mine in the gym on a certain exercise...Ive been at it all year long stalking it, hunting it down, I got within 20lbs of accomplishing it and then my strength kind of stalled out...so over the last few months, like I said I've had to let myself smooth out a little bit to gain some leverage/water to finally accomplish it. I am going to get it!...I am "oh so close"!
Ive been on TRT since 2008, the thing that sucks about TRT is that I cant just get over a plateau by adding a compound or mg to achieve something. It is what it is and TRT is my boundary. But do you know whats also great about that TRT boundary?! Because I have that barrier that cannot move, my training is so freaking dialed in, my nutritional supplements are so dialed in, and pretty much the only thing I manipulate up and down is my diet like I said.
I am absolutely set in my ways training wise. Am I much smaller than 20 years ago when I was in my 30's? Heck yea I am, about 40lbs smaller..290-300 to 250-259. It wasnt very easy on my ego (but the correct decision) when I decided to downsize in my very early forties. But I have seen so many older pro's/bodybuilders just disintegrate when they went down to TRT and muscle mass falls off them like dead skin. How can that happen? Was it all drug muscle and you never learned about the training part?
My emphasis always has been about supply and demand...THE TRAINING...if you create the demand the body will keep up the supply. I have never stopped training as hard as I possibly can, it has and has always been the key to everything. Especially to keep your leg size and muscle mass as you age."

This guy is constantly doing self-obsessed rambling. It has been going on for two decades!
I’m not buying the TRT line. To him TRT is never just real TRT.

It’s laughable when ex-bodybuilders/juice heads use the TRT line to describe their 500mg/week dose. Just the finishing touch!

Dante' is Still rocking that Junkyard H2 Hummer I see. Must have 250,000 miles on it by now and at least a half a million Protein farts on the front seat alone. That is probably his most impressive accomplishment and I, for one, hope he will leave that H2 heirloom treasure to his family in the future.
-
It should be every bodybuilder's goal to have wrists and hands so big they can't fit in protein jugs :).
I know this became something we joked about here, but goddamn if small containers of protein or amino powders aren't irritating. :DI often transfer powders into bigger cans
because I can't get my hands into many of them and my hand size isn't abnormally big. Sure you can manage somehow to scoop or pour powders out of anything but small containers are a bitch and just one more minor stressor in life, it all adds up :D
-
I have no criticism of Dante's physique per se. I would have loved to see him compete though, for the simple reason that people who never competed often don't know how much fat they carry and the final stage weight will often be way lower than assumed before attempting it. Some first time competitors can't accept a bodyweight that is way lower than they thought so they never get in true stage condition.
Same with Trevor Smith, just because he weighed way more than Ronnie doesn't mean he is Ronnie's size... he would have been half of Ronnie's size when ripped.
There's nothing wrong with not being amazingly big - everyone has to work with the genetics they were handed. All I'm saying is that some are not realistic about their genetics or level of development.
I argued a lot with Dante over the years but I also always said he is spot on with a lot of what he said. The guy has had a pretty big influence on people's thoughts about training.

I've been following bodybuilding for longer than most of getbiggers have been alive, I have no idea who this guy is , I've never heard of him ???

Dante is the guy behind Dogg Crapp Training / DC Training that was popular in 2004 - 2010 or so. He was an underground bodybuilding journalist that went on to have a piece of the True Protein supplement brand and the IntenseMuscle bodybuilding forum.
Long answer here - https://www.intensemuscle.com/forum/main-forums/the-dogg-pound/20286-updated-dc-training-newbies-read-this-first-and-then-ask-questions-later .

I see ,thank you

So lets take a look at his training methods that influenced so many, this is what came up when I googled:
The basic principles at one glance:
Progressive weight increase - thats original
Low training volume but high frequency - ok
Multiple rest-period training - eh ok
Extreme stretching - eh ok
No more carbohydrates at the end of the day - eh ok
Morning cardio - thats original
High protein intake - thats original
Loading and rest phases- eh ok
I think I'll pass

He wrote some great stuff and was the most influential forum poster IMO.
I think the emphasis on forcing strength gains and over eating isn't good long term though IMO. You might get tough hormonal fat and injured.
Finding your own personal balance to remain consistent over decades is the best method. Look at jeff/bethere vs dante.

Cycles for pennies was a legendary article, and the bible for permabulkers
-
I don’t have a bad thing to say about Dante. He’s been great in every interaction I’ve had with him. I used his training protocols during my most productive offseason and during two of my contest preps. I can say, I was at my strongest and biggest when i followed his principals.
-

he had a newsletter (hardcore muscle or something like that ) talking about performance enhancing drugs when no one else did (and diet and training) was a pioneer in that regard (it was impossible to get good/accurate information) known for “ DC or dogcrapp “ training principals

A fat ass!

Dante is a great bloke puts a load of good info out there for free, not everyone may agree with his methods but don’t understand the flack he gets. Years ago on a board that I forget the name he personally repaid everyone who was scammed by a member who took peoples money and ran. One of the few decent people in the game he looks great now leaner but still big
-
Great info and lots of size - he was never meant to have a pleasing physique.

Yes, but he’s self-obsessed and says a lot of dumb shit too, like Ronnie Coleman was natural at a bodyweight of 265.

Dante used to help old ladies cross the street. true story

Why is this guy’s ego so affected by dropping weight? He clearly has mental issues.

More like '02. I was living in Woodland Hills when "cycle for pennies" came out.
The stuff he said was the same as what most who've used every anabolic possible and used every training "method" possible and finally figured out what was actually giving the most bang for the buck, and he put it in a way some people had never heard before (much less figured out on their own yet). It might surprise some people to learn some "pro's" are kinda dumb when it comes to training, nutrition, and anabolics, and had gotten by on their genetics for a long time... Then they listen to someone with an IQ >100 and "validate" the guy (Dante) and dude's theories take off.
It's not that what he said/says isn't correct as doesn't work, it's just that a lot of guys where like "well, yea, of course that works. Are you new? Wtf".

I'll say this, he's big, but he's not shredded

You can see the slow and steady degradation of his physique. Imagine devoting your whole life to something at the expense of not accomplishing anything else in life just for this. The hopes of one day winning a trophy so that he can brag about on a forum full of strangers that think he's a kook.
Nothing left for the sad middle-aged granny face except posing in a thong in front of other men.

I haven't attacked a homeless man over a burger yet, maybe I have that to look forward to, then again again I didnt watch my work colleagues pass around a 13 year old girl like a peace pipe either.

Of course, you wouldn't. You'd just sit there cowering in fear as a naked bum harasses you and your family. Just like you'd soil yourself if I was standing right in front of you.
And I never witness anyone having sex, let alone a teenage gang bang. But, of course, you know that. You just have to tell a blatant lie just like you claimed I posted naked pics of myself on the net. If that were true you would have posted it by now. The fact is you are the one who posted naked pics of yourself on an almost exclusively male bbing board. If this is what you post in public, God only knows what you have in your "private collection". What a creepy, narcissistic, weirdo.
