No matter where you may sit in the debate the two stand out facts were and are, WHO and China both prior to Trump canceling flights from China, both said the Virus could not be spread human to human back in January and critisied anyone contemplating or closing their borders to China. That is the one or two defining facts here.
The WHO has contained ebola outbreaks in africa effectively but in this instance it was unable to get the Chinese to close down its borders immediately and basically accepted what the Chinese had to say,rather than investigate for themselves prior to making this statement.
It is one of two defining fact being left out of all conversations, they were initially wrong and should have shut the country down to stop the spread. They lose all their creditability from that position the rest is just a beat up both sides.
Both the WHO and the Chinese government condemned countries and called them racist for even considering or taking a position against allowing their citizens entry into their countries. That is the second defining fact.
