Battle of the Tattooed Men.

Thor is a terrible boxer and I'm not saying Eddie is good.

Eddie just needs to step inside on Thor and hit him with a huge uppercut.  Lights out!

Smart of Eddie to set this up as a payday for himself.  He is becoming irrelevant/forgotten as time goes on.

They are both laughing all the way to the bank hyping this crap. Behind the curtains they are friends and played this thing up adding drama, hostility etc.
I mean they landed a 7 figure contract for it. Not even being good fighters. They are both worthless fighters that wouldn't stand a minute with a trained fighter. Eddie hall is tring to scrape by doing youtube and all this crap and now with this opportunity he can have 7 figure sallary for very little work.

I don't blame them it's really clever. People in the world are dumb. Avg IQ must be below 85 these days.
Last time a top strongman (Koklyaev) went up against a top fighter it went like this

Hall has a basic idea on how to protect himself and can generate power....

Thor has no idea how to punch or protect himself and isn't anywhere near as explosive as Eddie, eddie should be able to knock him out.

Exactly. This is all a shoot, an effort to capitalize on increased social media views/hits generated by a manufactured “animosity” or dislike based rivalry.

More than likely a glorified sparring match. My guess is Thor needs to drop some weight and take a bit of time off for the sake of his health after bulking up for that big deadlift.

I honestly think I could beat Thor, in a boxing match where he was kept off me as per the rules,... I used to do some boxing.

Eddie would be a lot thougher looking here he can actually lay down big shots.

Thor can't fight, watch that footage he can't even punch.

I have noticed you are quite hostile towards men who are big and strong. Is there some context in your past that lead to this insecurity of yours?

Isn't the fight like 18months away?

Surely they don't turn into butterflies that can sting like a bee but some progress is going to happen?

Haftor has a quite big reach advantage if he hets good enough coaching?

I’ve benched over 500lbs at 255,deadlifted over 700 at 265 and have weighed around 300 at times in my life.As of now I’m 6’2 235 so your answer is no.i just don’t think size or strength makes you a fighter. Its mentality.

Not just in regards to fighting. I notice whenever a huge lift is posted by a big dude, you are quick to try and discredit them by letting us all know how some random strong 220ish gym rat hoisting around decent yet common weight is more impressive than all time world records.

You are correct,I’m not as impressed by monsters lifting as I am guys much lighter.Ive been lifting for 30 years and I’ve seen huge guys lift huge weight but I’m just not as impressed as lighter guys.a guy benching 405 weighing 220 is more impressive to me than a monster weighing 400 lbs benching 700 lbs.its also the look as well a 220 ober at day 5’10 jacked is going to impress me more than a big beast like hall benching whatever he does.Just my feelings is all.that fat bastard who has the bench record now doesn’t impress me that much,he is a complete fat disgusting looking fuck.

It's more impressive when a lighter guy manages to lift a heavy weight than a big one due to skeletal structure!

On the other hand, anyone got a pic of Hendas hairy chest saved?

Eddie looks to have some basic boxing technique although more so in the first video where he's just hitting the pads vs. the second one with an actual match.

Hafthor looks like he has not much idea what he's doing although with his massive reach and sheer size (no homo) I would guess he'd have a good chance against many smaller fighters with similar (lack of) skill.

Neither have the skills/experience/stamina to make this interesting for more than maybe 30 seconds of morbid curiosity.

Not sure people realize just how big Hafthor is.  I couldn't find many pics of them together but here's one from WSM I think, even compared to Eddie he's just gigantic.  Eddie is well over 6 feet and well over 300 lbs and he looks like a child here.

Eddie's about 6'3" isn't he?

If they keep it a boxing match and not a wrestling match, Thor's size is somewhat negated.

It's all a show and will be a farce.  People will pay a lot of money to see two stiffs laying on each other for a round or two.

I was amused at the idea initially but now I'm sick of hearing all the banter around it. Tempted to just unfollow the pair of them.
A good pay day for them both but that's it. Thor is certainly the more mobile and athletic of the two, and it will be interesting to see what weight they both come down to but the sooner it comes around the better. Then Thor can get back to strongman and hopefully powerlifting, Eddie can go back to doing whatever will keep the cash rolling in.
