Hey, I was just wondering how many grams a day I should have? Some people say 5g, others say 10g. I'm about 180-185 lbs. And also, is it better pre or post workout, or should i split the dosage between the two? Thanks.

I'm 190 lbs., and I find that about 5 or 6 grams a day is all you need.
The last couple of years I take it at any time of the day------could be morning , evening , etc.
I dont think it really matters when you take it, as it is always in your system---------and the last couple of years I still made excellent gains no matter what time of day I took it. Good luck.

haha no. thats protein. I take 5-10 grams before and after a workout.

Only take supplements that are "vince goodrum approved" ;D

5 grams is plenty ...creatine works well but man it gives me the craps.

Thanks for answering even though it's on the wrong board. I was thinking of doing something along the lines of 5-6g a day, no loading phase. Thanks again for the help.

After the loading phase (when I was taking creatine) I started out w/the recommended 5-10 g's a day dose.Didn't notice a thing from that!After I went 5 g's upon awakening,5 g's pre & post workout & 5 g's before bedtime did I notice any results.
