If this guy is going to be the next Batman they should just fire him. Actors always lose weight or gain muscle for roles. This is common and has nothing to do with "body image".

True but Gene Kelly was a stud. He did all his own stunts when he danced and that included some risky moves. I agree about Hollyweird as they wanted Steve Reeves to be a lot smaller for the role of Samson in Samson and Delilah. He refused and so Victor Mature got the role.

All that aside, this is different canon and year one-esque bruce wayne so it's a different interpretation and since it's year one this is young bruce before he got painfully addicted to venom like he did in that bronze age story arc
