Piece of crap machine.

Should be used for scrap metal and turned into a hammer strength machine.

The more simplistic the better.  A rock is better than a dumbbell which is better than a barbell which is better than a machine with a bunch of moving parts.

If they are heavy enough they do.

I have revolving handles for pull ups. It's so much harder than using a straight bar but it's good for the shoulder joint letting it revolve the way it wants to naturally go. What makes it hard is that it's not locked.

I use something similar. The expendable rings which can be used for dips, push ups, rows etc. Great piece of lockdown equipment.

I will add in another version that I have (+TRX too)....I would probably pull the trigger on some rings....people dump the Rogue ones all the time for like 40 bucks, but I still wonder if they're redundant for me.

Supinator is old news, the Basile grip testing device is the wave of the future. Rumor has it, the chromed pinching block replicates the angle and slipperiness of a man's ribs -

A Supinator Story -

"Here is the first image online of the biceps-supinator. This was invented by myself and built totally by myself in my engineering factory. I tried to sell the design to Nautilus and Cybex but they were not interested. So this machine has cost me over $100,000 to patent and build. Surely it is the most expensive machine ever installed in a gym.

This machine was conceived in 1986, and first conception on paper was in 1991. I obtained patents from the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany and Australia. You have to apply to each country. Then you have to pay thousands of dollars per year to maintain those patents.

I wouldn't patent anything in the future! I built the first version in 2001 and then modified it several times since. The last major surgery occurred last year. I am quite pleased with this machine. There are many adjustments and it really is a complex machine with lots of angles needed. It works, though! Lots of stainless steel on the prototype. I will paint it silver soon.

Even Arthur Jones was unable to build this machine. It is undoubtedly the most complicated bodybuilding machine with weight stacks that has ever been installed in a gym. When used properly it can result in an absolutely brutal biceps workouts. You can twist the arms and get a resistance. Each arm can be trained separately, too. The curl plates are 20 pounds and the supination plates are 5 1/2 pounds."

------------------------------------------

The Supinator is only 19 years old. I would've figured it was built in the late 70's, early 80's looking at it.

remember the keiser air machines in the late 70's and early eighties. there was also some kind of machines that employed water for resistance. i tried a keiser preacher bench one time my arms were sore for a week, next time i used ir i got zip from it. this was at the old fitness america chain of gyms.

I bet Basile pays local prostitutes to read the biceps supinator manual to him, out loud, while they stroke his hair, with his head resting on their lap.

The "triceps extendernator" was a marvel of it's own.  While not having near the number of moving parts as the biceps supinator, it is indeed the counterpart to the biceps supinator.  The two machines are lost without each other.  Much like pork and beans, when there is only one, it is average at best.  However, put them together, and the results are astounding.

Another huge advantage of the triceps extendernator is the compact size.  It only requires 200 sq/ft of space, when fully setup.

The Bicep Supination Machine (BSM) is stored at the Vatican Museums.

The BSM is housed behind 5 feet of bullet proof glass and censors to detect when someone gets within 6 feet of the BSM. During the day time, there are two armed guards with AK-47's. At night, the BSM gets transferred through a special portal in the floor, where it is housed within 10 feet of concrete and  a 3 ton vault door. Only 2 people have the code to open the vault.
