i been juicin the last 3 weeks and hittin the whey concentrate to up my protein intake... but iv had chronic s'hits all day so basically im wastin my time.
its real food for me from now on ... two scoops of unflavoured , 'unf'ucked about with' whey has done my digestive system in .. and the big name commercial brands with their fillers , sweeteners , flavourins and 'digestive enzymes' ar even worse for makin me s'hit through the eye of a needle.
eggs n fish post workout from now on , methinks... im sick of the supplement scam!

real food is a better source for proteins anyway... as long as u get enough.. good luck with your cycle ;D

i dont use 'brands' .. they are by far the worst.... i buy mine from 'whey consortium' ... its unflavoured and undenatured so i can tolerate that stuff far better than dymatize (the instant s'hits in a tub) or reflex etc. iv tried em all ....
with whey consortium it takes weeks before my arsehole drops out .. with the 'brands' , cuz of the fillers , flavourins and chemical processes.. they have me on the potty in days!
bahhh ... gimme 6 scrambled eggs anyday of the week....

I have come to the conclusion based on years of experience, That I make just as good gains whether I am ingesting 50 grams of protein or 250 grams of protein a day.
Yes, over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on supplements because we are all force fed to believe that if we wanna reach our potential, we need massive amounts of protein .
Well, nowadays I make gains just as good as when I was taking 3 or 4 times more protein, plus I am not sitting on the can an extra 3 or 4 times a day.
Well, thats experience for ya !!!

...funny, I think the exact opposite. If there ever was a bigger scam in the supplement market it has been creatine. Don't get me wrong, "actual" creatine has a purpose, but most of the products out there are worthless IMO. Some of them you need to take 10x the recommended amount, others you could take the entire bottle a day and see nothing.
...nothing more then a placebo affect :P
As far as PT powder is concerned, there are good ones and bad ones, but I find the good ones helpfull...especially if you are trying to get in 8-9 meals per day.

eexcept for the fact that real food takes a whole lot longer to digest and your body needs the protien and carbohydrates as quick as posiible to maximize gains...id say thats okay

I like solid food too, but after I work out I have a shake. I use the cyto-gainer a few times a day on top of 5 solid meals.
Shakes are alot easier than forcing down so much food.
I had 2 meals and 6 shakes one day this past weekend, because I was in the car all day and when I got to my destination I didn't have access to food. Lets just say I has such terrible gas I stunk up the guest bedroom so much, my friends could smell it in the hallway.

yeah i agree with the 'fast protein' principle after trainin when your muscles are in shock and desperate for the buildin blocks to recover... but i didnt train today and have only eaten proper meals .. and my arsehole has been on holiday today ... yesterday it felt like chewed bubble-gum.
if you have gas and the s'hits it means the protein aint bein absorbed anyways and is goin straight down the crapper. id rather have a slower digestin meal and at least ensure im gettin the calories down my neck.
id like to do a glucose /free form amino acid drink after a workout to avoid digestive distress issues.. but you cant buy aminos in bulk powder form anywhere.
im talkin 50 grams of aminos too ...... id have to swallow two bottle of expensive pills to get that and prolly bung myself up.

I'm sure they will have your amino's at proteinfactory.com. The guy who owns the business says amino's don't work but he will sell them to you anyway. Check it out. I use 'em.
