Not that I know a great deal on the subject, but I'm guessing as long as the elbow remains on the pad tjen it's all good. And the falling technique is because arm wrestling at elite level looks to be mostly about lat strength.

Devon and John are both great. Interesting that John beat Dennis but looks what happened in 2018 when Devon went against Dennis. Dennis demolished him! Perhaps Devon was recovering from an injury? I read that Dennis has not been well lately. However at his peak he was probably the best.

obsidian , dennis had a stroke but will not admit to it, i think he lost about 100 lbs looks horrible now, devon had surgery on his right biceps i think two years ago, he admitted he is not as good right handed as he used to be. i would rank john and devon as the two best in the modern era , i beleieve john is coming back as well. there is more money in arm wrestling now.

He was given two warnings and the last rep was not counted as he did not lock-out his elbows and was 'double dipping' the weight. When Hafthor challenged the judge (after Hall achieved more reps) he was told 4 reps were not good but only 1 was taken away.

Up to about 2012'ish he could probably beat anyone in the world including Dennis. But after that he got worse for some reason. I belvieve he had to do some elbow surgeries.
