My russian is a bit rusty, but it seems like the taxi driver won't take in the drunk black scholar and would drive the white less drunk one.
The black victim of this barbaric white supremacist discrimination act started his violent peacefull protest rant.
The white supremacists tried to calm him down and since he would not comply they started hitting him.
