I've been reading the original Batman comics beginning in 1940.
I have them in digital format. I'm up to #10.
They originally came out quarterly, then went to monthly later.

so if you guys want a real conversation about the comic industry there is no one solution
- publishers will have to accept they can't abandon print comics nor put all there eggs in digital
- judge books by sales....it doesn't matter if your artist/writer is "woke"....if they sell great, if they don't then let them finish there run and then replace them
-no more reboots...neither soft or hard
- downsize offices.....
edit: and i realize that the mouthbreather who started this thread posted a link that tried to support a argument about "restarting" the comics industry and had nothing to do with the semi dire state of the industry.........the industry was in slight trouble before the shutdown
however, pro wrestling and comics are both cyclical and will always be around

Not far as I know. There was some public shaming after he repeatedly asked us to gift him money so that he could finish the comic he was creating, but that had more to do with him being a panhandling bum bereft of dignity or self respect and being incapable of making his way in the world without charity from people who could actually call themselves men than with the quality of his product.
Now that it turns out he's an incompetent halfwit, I feel kind of bad about predicting he'd end up unshaven, holding a carboard sign, and snacking on his own smegma. But it does explain why he keeps coming back here.
That blinding light from the meteorite, and awakening with the uncanny ability to endure embarrassment which would crush an ordinary man makes him impervious to shame. His endless capacity to make a complete ass of himself cannot be curtailed. No accurate assessment of his shocking behavior or complete lack of abilities can deter the retarded resolve of Clueless Man.

Hey bud, I have an idea for a comic -
The story opens with Captain America recovering from hemorrhoid surgery. He's already pissed off because the Haitian nurse's aide in charge of his recovery refused him a $20 handjob. He flips on the tv, sees all this ANTIFA shit, and gets all pissed off. He calls up the Punisher for help (you know his asshole hasn't healed up yet), and then the rest of it unfolds like a traditional Marvel Team Ups thing.
You think Roy might be interested in helping me flesh it out?

The co-opted Marvel and DC will continue to produce SJW propaganda. I've never seen their products but am more encouraged by Ethan Van Sciver and Vox Day/Chuck Dixon/Arkhaven and any other independents that aren't slaves to the far left.
Styles like Gene Colan, Al Williamson, drawn/inked Frazetta, Wally Wood, Rand Holmes, Will Eisner, EC Jack Davis, Mark Schultz, Dave Stevens... are what I'd like to see comic art-wise.
