I'm looking for a cheap set of markers to get until I can afford Copics and I was wondering if this community could help!
Now when I say cheap, I mean CHEAP. I need some $20-$50 markers that come with a good amount of colors (like 36 or so). I found a brand called Caliart and they've got a set of 40 markers and they're a little over $20 and they seem alright but I wanna make sure there is nothing else that may be better.
I have been using colored pencils and I really don't like coloring with them. I want some colors that pop and completely fill the space they inhabit.

Tombow watercolor markers are great. They aren't alchohol based like Copics but they have thier own perks about them. I love using them and they are a lot cheaper. There are a bunch of great colors too. Super vibrant and blendable.

There are some out there. Check youtube reviews and read reviews of copic substitute (https://drawingfan.com/best-copic-alternatives/) from trusted resources.
Ohuhu are supposed to be decent and much cheaper yhan copics. The one thing is that they don't have as many pale colours. You can also check Procolour markers, but I don't think they're much cheaper than Copics.
