I've done the salmon/tuna + broccoli thing for a few weeks at a time. Got pretty ripped on it, but my workouts eventually suffered. Had to make sure the broccoli was cooked/steamed all the way, or the farts would be horrendous.

Once you can water fast for a week or more with ease, people complaining about eating only 1 or 2 items of food consistently seems like a joke.As long as you have fat supplies on your body and electrolytes added to water, you dont even need food.

Old diet, nothing new !.
I would replace chicken with fish (no cans).
Mono meal is another very affective way.
Some guys also drink blended raw liver (old boxing trick).

Short term no biggie, bbers do much worst things...
Long term you could more or less supplement your way out of deficiencies. But who can eat like that long term.

In another thread, you seemed strongly opposed to the keto diet. Here you say you've done it and got pretty ripped on it.
Your workouts suffered probably because you were not getting enough energy from carbs or fat. If you lower carbs, you have to increase fat for energy, and vice versa.

I like eating Broccoli Chicken as take out from Ying Bun, a nearby Chinese restaurant. Just mentioning it is making my mouth water. I may get some for dinner tonight.

PRIME, That Ying Bun meal most likely has a lot more ingredients than simply broccoli and chicken.
Lots of salt also ... most likely.

Your not wrong. I never said it was healthy. I ended up eating a chicken Caesar salad with a slice of garlic and cheese toast. Not much better in the salt levels. Salt is one of my downfalls. I've been overusing it for so long that food tastes like cardboard to me without it.
However, their beef broccoli is just beef, broccoli and whatever they make the sauce out of which surely is loaded with salty soy sauce. It comes with steamed rice....to which I add more soy sauce.
