She's right about that, it is difficult supporting a family. Unfortunately it's significantly more difficult to support a family on a single mother's income (or entitlements).
Perhaps she should have *chosen* (birth control, contraceptives, and abstinence are all possibilities) to get pregnant after getting married to a "dorky" brotha that would rather work a normal job than buy 300$ shoes and not support his kids.
I bet that entire room was filled with woman that had subpar but "stereotypical" black men dump sour louds into them and leave them high and dry for another woman or prison.
Racism is real. Black people have a harder time than White people.

The New York Times Magazine had a huge article on "antiracism training" - https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/15/magazine/white-fragility-robin-diangelo.html . One of the funnier things to come out of it was the thought that the concept of "Time" is white and racist -
"[Marcus] Moore directed us to a page in our training booklets: a list of white values. Along with “‘The King’s English’ rules,” “objective, rational, linear thinking” and “quantitative emphasis,” there was “work before play,” “plan for future” and “adherence to rigid time schedules.” Moore expounded that white culture is obsessed with “mechanical time” — clock time — and punishes students for lateness. This, he said, is but one example of how whiteness undercuts Black kids. “The problems come when we say this way of being is the way to be.” In school and on into the working world, he lectured, tremendous harm is done by the pervasive rule that Black children and adults must “bend to whiteness, in substance, style and format.”

I love it. Black kids shouldn't develop the actual skills that will make them productive citizens. Everyone else should accept their lateness, lack of rational thinking, and no foresight to their actions. This is a perfect example of the bigotry of low expectations. Got to keep them down and completely incapable so they will need government welfare while continuing to vote for democrats.
