I just do one set 25 to 40 reps on lower body. Upper body no less than 10rep

Squatiing a heavy 6 at 40 years old is asking for a lower back injury , your better off doing 50 noweight jumping squats

I'm shocked someone has the audacity to make posts about lifting and training on this website.

What is wrong with some people?

Reporting this outrage to the moderators!

He has a great home gym with some commercial equipment. He reminds me of Billy Joel in his speech pattern and facial expressions. He never explained how he tore his thigh tendon. Was it during a squat?

I think he slipped on some ice outside his house

that knee/quad tendon attachment still looks pretty messed up. Like it was attached too high or smth. Will be difficult if not impossible to get his leg back up to par.

Jumping squats past the age of 40?  Plyometrics will wreck you faster than anything else.

At 40 you are still very young.  Let me how you are doing in twenty years. At 40 you should be 90-95% of what you could do at 25.
