Herman Cain — the maverick American business czar and Republican presidential candidate who campaigned for a sweeping tax reform plan called 9-9-9 — died Thursday morning after a month long battle with the coronavirus. He was 74.

Cain, who recently joined Newsmax TV and was set to launch a weekly show, died in an Atlanta-area hospital where he had been critically ill for several weeks.

RIP. One of the truly great Black Conservative Voices.

Herman Cain was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in March 2006.  “I had it in my colon and my liver — stage IV,” the GOP presidential candidate said in a speech last year. “And to quote my first surgeon: ‘That’s as bad as it gets.'” His second surgeon gave him a slightly rosier outlook, telling Cain: “You have a five percent chance of even being alive three years from now.”

It's probably all that Godfather's pizza and Burger King he enjoyed all those years.

First time I heard of him was when he was substituting for Hannity on the radio. I was immediately impressed.

He basically committed suicide

hardly basking in his  death

In another thread I said I hope he recovers and I said RIP in this thread

All I said was that he made the choices that led to his death and he enjoyed himself while doing it ...both of which are simple statements of fact that I'm sure he would not dispute.

Its not a choice I would have made for sure.  I have not been inside a bar, restuarant, event, etc for 5 months now at least.   At the same time, i still train outside daily, do shopping as needed, only as needed.

I'm not happy he died - I dont wish ill on anyone.

just curious.  Do you think if I search your old posts I'll find some where you "wish ill" on someone?  Maybe some Dems?

What do you think ?

BTW - there is something weird with this site

What about all the people who rejoiced and clapped when McCain died.  You know... those posting right here on this board?

Thats crappy too.  McCain held on too long and was bitter in the end.  Could and should have ended it after he lost in 2008 and rode into the sunset.

Why should he have quit the Senate just because he lost the election to Obama?

Herman Cain attends Trumps Tulsa rally June 20th. Dumb idea overall.
Doesn't wear a mask.  Really dumb idea.
June 28th he is diagnosed with covid 19.
Two days later he is admitted into the hospital.
He fought for nearly 30 days only to die from the Democratic hoax.  Coincidence?  Karma?  God's Will?

Fed up huh?  You know who doesn't give a shit if you are fed up or not?  Covid19.

What he should have done is only one person's opinion.  Should I go back and quote the people posting on this thread right here that made comments like "good riddance?"

Herman Cain :  There is no pandemic.
Pandemic :  There is no Herman Cain.

But hey... he got to attend a Trump rally without a mask as his last act....  he's got to be proud of that.

That the mainstream is so adamant about attributing his death to COVID is conclusive evidence that it was Cancer.

Herman Cain died from COVID-19 complications, not colon cancer

So if he had not caught Covid19 he would have still died on the same day?  Is that what you are saying?  Or more so that if he kept his ass at home and/or wore a mask, he wouldn't have caught Covid19 and thus lived longer.

Cancer or not, Covid19 certainly caused the onset of his body temp reaching room temp much faster.

Neither one of us has any idea about his medical history other than that he has been dealing with cancer since 2006.

How many other people at that rally have since died?

Not sure of the death count, but plenty were infected.  It's beyond reasonable to assume that if Mr. Cain (RIP) would have not contracted the covid, that he'd still be with us.

Kind works both ways with you assuming it wasn't covid and instead just cancer.
