Diet is king eat less. walking is good if done regularly but do not expect miracles.

Pure bullshit. Only diet will make a difference. Walking as well as running , burns on the order of 100 calories a mile. So 5 miles is about a piece of pizza and a coke.
And walking is boring, like your posts, lol

Correct my friend but if done every Day..over months ; years . Remember it´s long term (most don´t do this)
However Diet is king.
Calories are so easy to take in with say beer, soft drinks.

Cut the carbs and eat garlic...Thank me later, srs

Sounds like a ripoff of my "Coast-to-Coast" diet/exercise plan.

Drink a large glass of water before your meals.

Interesting. Roman Fritz recommends not to drink anything 30 minutes pre and post every meal (and also during the meal) as it would dilute your gastric acid and could lead to digestive problems resp a less effecitve digestion (especially for a BB eating large amounts) ???
-
Eat less. Unfortunately this also tends to burn muscle.
-
BW x 10 = daily caloric intake, take that number and break it down into macros that fit YOUR body type.
30-60min steady state cardio and of course train to maintain lean tissue. Muscle = efficient metabolism

What do you thinkt about that, Coach:

Lol I’d die on 2000 calories and that’s without the cardio, and I’m only 200 lbs. That’s cookie cutter shit, Coach! With all due respect

How old are you? After 40 it gets much tougher to keep the fat off unless you have a calorie restricted diet like that.

It’s actually the opposite of cookie cutter when you break down the macros to suit certain body type

I’m using voice to text right now while sitting at a stoplight but Dennis James the other day posted on Instagram saying that he was 235 and you look phenomenal by the way and he was trying to get down to 220 but said he was stuck and couldn’t get down I think he said he was doing two hours of cardio a day and cutting his carbs that doesn’t make a big difference if you’re not in a calorie deficit he is not in a calorie deficit regardless he was taking in too many calories that’s the bottom line and that’s why he can’t get down to 220

Tell him I said to stop taking all the 'roids, HGH, Insulin, et al. He'll drop down to that weight in less than a week, LOL! ;D

You can't outwalk an Oreo cookie.

You can't outwalk an Oreo cookie.
To paraphrase Humphrey Bogart in the role of Sam Spade in "The Maltese Falcon", it's "the double stuff that dreams are made of". ;D

Certainly true but I’ve found that when you’re doing a lot of cardio and you decide to tighten up the diet, the weight flies off.

That formula is pure cookie cutter. Why would I want to eat 1500 calories below my maintenance and do cardio on top of that? No matter what macro ratios, goodbye muscles
-
A calorie is a calorie. Drop your calories to 1,500 a day and you will shed the same amount of fat regardless if it's a high carb, high fat, or high protein diet.

Do you weigh 150? Or are you giving an example?
If I for example, broke it down to 45/40/15 I’m going to retain some lean tissue. Regardless of what your deficit is and let’s say no TRT you’re still lose some lean tissue
-
No one ever cuts back on protein. What is it about carbs and fat dropping that causes muscle loss?
-
Wind trainer with a cheap, mounted ten speed bike...

Fasting works too

Anybody would lose weight on 1,500 calories a day.

Good post
Always found 200 mg of test a wk and 2 IU of gh is really all you need to have a pretty lean year round physique. Consistent training and decent diet on top of that, that’s obvious. You can even take out the gh and just test a lone

U know shit , kill yourself. Thank me later :)

If you can visit Balmoral (Sydney) & try to walk 3 X up (from the beach - Spit Rd.) Awaba St., it's nasty 65' climb ;)
+ don't forget backpack with 10kg plate inside ;D

It's more than the caloric cost during the exercise; it's the metabolic changes. If you want to just talk about calories then if you walk 4 miles a day it's approximately 400 calories. 400 times six days a week is 2400 calories you didn't burn before. Times 4 weeks is 9600 calories. Since walking use fat for fuel and a little glycogen you would be lot leaner at the end of the month. Taking two pounds plus of pure fat off an somewhat lean natural bodybuilder in a month is huge.
I'm back to running but when I walked a lot due to injuries the fat melted off. Combine that with lifting and it's a great combination. Wow, one poorly constructed hypothesis that was published by the NY Times is getting repeated ad nauseam as if it's factual.

I did a 4 day water fast once
-
I train on an empty stomach each morning and walk for an hour or 6km straight after, basically two plus hours of training on an empty stomach with only some pre workout to help mobilise fat for energy. Basically fasting, i then Try to eat meat and vegetables rest of the day, no sugar and starch only where you need it for energy. I wouldn't do it trying to get bigger when i was younger, but now its great start to the day at 4.30am. Don't do it as a diet do it as a constant lifestyle, just use food as the non constant, eat more in winter, less in summer but keep the regime going, weight might go up but keeps bopdyfat in check.

I decided before my first grandchild to drop to my lowest weight since my late teens. I found interval training on the elliptical to be the most efficient way. Also helped to push my BP and resting heart rate very low.
Since I've gotten older my appetite has dropped so diet was not an issue.
Have two grandsons now. 🙏🏻

There aren't any significant metabolic changes with walking- you are too far below threshold pulse to do anything. And unless you control your diet for calorie intake, you will lose nothing. Ever see those fat "mall walkers" lol - they eat it all back.
I have cycled high intensity for years. Average week is 6 hours minimum. In season more like 10 plus. If you eat based on hunger you will not lose an ounce. Many of my friends are professional cyclists who ride far more than me- and they all say the same thing- you have to limit calories if you want to lose weight. There is no magic exercise.

Say hi to Jesus for me.

like someone said, water fasting is the quickest way, and after the first couple of weeks, the easiest.Your body has food literally stuck to it, use it before you take it externally.

Say hi to Jesus for me.
I will, bro. I will....
