Title: Question about GNC BCAA's
Post by: gilius on April 19, 2006, 02:24:41 PM
Hey, I just picked up some BCAA's from GNC, and they say to take 6 a day, and I was wondering, do you really need to take that much and on an empty stomach, or can you get by with taking fewer? Couldn't find any site that answered my question, and this is my first time using BCAA's, so i was just wondering. Thanks a lot.

I take 3 when I first wake up, along with a teaspoon of glutamine, and a teaspoon of arginine powder, then eat my breakfast about half an hour later.
I also take 3 before I workout, along with 5 grams of glutamine, arginine, and creatine. I don't take any post-workout, because my shake will have 2 scoops of whey, which contain plenty of BCAA.
