The Ultimate Warrior was exhibit A of someone who was all drugs.  When the WWF was forced to drug test he lost like 50lbs almost over night.  He started wearing the Slim Good Body wrestling singlet with painted on muscles. :D

I figured he would have died years ago and blame it all on the steroids like he did his hips.

Wrong guy.

And no.

Warrior was gone by the time the WWE did that.

No, he wasn't.  And it was the WWF in 1992.

I stand corrected. My apologies.

However, as said, he’s still very muscular there.

Yeah he’s still built but I think he started wearing the suit after his return at WM 8 where he saved Hogan. His hair shorter in addition he was smaller and smoother than his first run and fans started rumors that this was an impersonator playing the Ultimate Warrior.

I think he started wearing the singlets soon after this, as he was getting into better shape. He was fired after Summer Slam for purchasing GH that was confiscated by customs.

When he came back and was softer and slightly smaller it started the conspiracy that he died and was replaced.

I read his autobiography, the guy had a hell of a life. Great athlete, threw the shot over 60 and discus over 180. He also had a liver transplant and said it looked like a large, diseased football.

^^HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!

Seriously, Warrior routinely wore singlets during his first WWF comeback after his big 80’s run. Many guys at that time “added clothes” to hide/shame their lack of conditioning.
UW may have lost “some” size, but he still had an impressive physique at that point.

He (like Randy Savage) was known to spend small fortunes on his ring attire, which they considered to be a noble investment.

I want to say that Warrior & Davey Boy Smith were both let go from WWF around the same time for receiving hGH from a British pharmacy.

Smith went to WCW, where they apparently did NO testing.
Warrior started some kind of pro-wrestling school.

I read articles on his website probably 15 years ago.  Weird guy, libertarian, kind of reminded me of Mike Mentzer.

Warrior (and Luger as well), always looked better in their younger days when they were bit bigger and not so ripped.  Luger especially got lean and started to look really stringy.

One of the older guys I used to hang out with when I was in Uni in Atlanta did photography work for WCW back when they were the biggest show around.  He told me one time that it was weird photographing Luger because when he smiled, it looked like it absolutely hurt him.  He said that he seemed to have zero gums left.  That his teeth went directly upwards with no gums at all.

I don't like the guys dumping on their former co workers but I get why he was pissed.  No other top wrestler from the past got shit on like the Ultimate Warrior by his mates.

Umm... dude, his "ring attire" was basically streamers on his arms and two cans of AquaNet in his hair.
