Title: Coming off OxyContin 80mg
Post by: meathead23 on August 21, 2020, 02:39:57 AM
Hey guys,

I’ve been using OxyContin 80mg sporadically for the past just under 12 months. It’s come to a point where I don’t want to use it anymore however I’m having some issues coming off it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I just don’t want to use this stuff anymore but I know coming off it can be a bitch to say the least. Have any get biggers had any experience with this stuff and if so, whats the best way to come off without experiencing the ugly withdrawals that come along with it. I’m truly desperate to come off. For the sake of myself, my family and my business.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Meathead23

See a doctor and be honest. Follow his advice. If it was me I would stop using completely and suffer for two weeks. After the first week the second week should be a lot easier.

First thing I'd be doing is tapering my dosing down..

Split the 80 to 40s then 20s etc....

trying to go cold turkey while taking 80's would be much harder than when you get down to 5mgs.

Wrong advice. You go to the doctor and they'll put in your record that you were an addict.  Good luck getting life insurance or any medical insurance.  Instead go to a public clinic, give them a fake name and they'll help you with the right way to get off.

As mentioned, gradually reduce the dose and ween off it.

I'm assuming he already has medical insurance which covers addiction.

A lot of guys that are fans of drugs would disagree with me but coming off steroids has to be a bitch. When on you feel confident and aggressive. You feel good emotionally like a strong anti depressant. Going off completely there comes a time when you feel meek, anxiety ridden and nervous.  Then depression follows. Some guys turn them self into pharmacists and use LH hormone. clomid and anti estrogens. Then go to "low" doses (by bodybuilding standards) of testosterone till their next cycle. Muscle starts to go away and fat levels rise. It has to be addictive to want to feel that well being again having those steroids in your system.
