Obviously a juicer.
-
This thread gives Getbiggers a bad name.
-
He might jog a little or use a treadmill but lift weights? No.
-
John kept the faith and is always in shape, unlike many rockers of his day who went out in a blaze of glory.
-
Still a handsome fooker
-
That's not Bon Jovi

Realtor who had the listing is also the guy who represented the buyer. 2.15 million dollar commission for him.

No way.

No way.
Yup. I have my real estate license down here so I looked up the property on the MLS. 5% commission on a 43 million dollar property. Pretty crazy.
-
He’s 58. Compared to most men that age, he looks great.
-
No way am I hating on that guy. Lived THE life. Perpetual panty dropper. :D

He was great in Fargo...

Wonder what his stack is?

Was always a follower of bodybuilding fashion, liked to wear daisy dukes in the 90s on leg day

I personally like his music. I appreciate his song writing ability. I read an interview a few years ago where he was talking about attending a fund raiser for his friend, an NFL quarterback and his wife who had a child born with a disability. I can't articulate the emotion he evoked in the article but in a nutshell he said "I make music, I am famous for it but it doesn't mean crap. what matters is what challenges others face without complaining or giving up. That grounds me and I'll never forget that" I thought that was pretty cool. He just doesn't take himself that seriously

That IS cool.

That IS cool.
On top of that I recently saw a news show where he owns a Soul Kitchen restaurant in New Jersey where he often works that supplies free food to the needy.

LOL! You have to start writing this shit down and come out with a book. Just one classic after another.

Can you post a picture of your house so we can see what good taste is like?

You didn’t mind when Jay Cutler was wearing them, schmomo!

Had some greats songs but mainly female oriented music.
Bovi looking great for his age... maybe all that pussy kept him fresh.

Prime-era Jon Bovi was Chick Metal-lite.
Anthemic cheese with sprinklings of cringe-inducing balladry.
Since those days, his music has deteriorated into watery, unfocused, and, most recently, pandering, horseshit.
(The available songs from the upcoming release are wretched.)
He’s got a killer guitarist, Phil X, he doesn’t utilize, and a dead-weight collaborator/producer/guitarist partner, John Shanks, dragging everything down that much further.
Richie Sambora knew it was time to bail, even though it was serval years too late. And even though Phil X, from a technical standpoint, plays circles around him, Richie was a very important component to the “real” Bon Jovi sound.
I don’t know why I’m even bothering with all this.
Never was a fan.

Are we talking about JBJ or Darren Avey?

Very flexible with speed. He could do some damage in MMA if he trained for that exclusively.

John Covid?
Bon Schoville?

He's a smart fucker. When the band was still not so famous he had the band members sign over all rights to him and they essentially became employees of his. Doing this made him a shitload of cash.

Ritchie has resented him ever since.

Inaccurate.
He and he alone signed the recording contract. It was offered to HIM.
Then he formed his (backing) band around him.

Seems like you know more about Bovid than we do! Would never imagine our Fortress know so much about Bon Covid! :D

lol. Kwon-funny!

I admittedly like wussy Bon Jovi’s wuss rock. His old stuff gets overplayed a bit, but I like their early 2000s sound with Ritchie #outed

Sambora is a great guitarist.

Rich wrote most of their hits. Yes, he was the Bon Jovi sound. Bon Jovi before fame has a relative working in a recording studio. Richie was a local legend in the shore rock circuit prior to the band and that's when Bon Jovi seek him out. Truth be told in his prime Richie had better vocals than Bon Jovi but Bon Jovi had the studio connection. Sometimes the best technique musicians have no talent to entertain. Same as people with English doctorates. They can write technically perfect English but they have no creative talent to come up with creative ideas for a novel. That makes some players master players for some but in reality have no talent because they can't come up with their own songs that entertain the people so they play like a high school kid playing tab to their favorite group. No creativity equals a useless player reading music or tab. Yes they play perfectly but create nothing. It's the creativity that produces a lasting legend. Playing perfect is like a yawn. Who cares?

The consensus is John and rich were 50-50. If you have something different I would love to read it

Take a few deep breaths, moron.
He’s extraordinarily successful. I take nothing from him in this.
Doesn’t mean I cannot critique his work or state I’m not a fan.
Go listen to Slippery When Wet and settle down.

Kinda agree.
Problem is that often these "soulless" ones have the highest drive to produce "inane material".

Ritchie pulled better tail.

Those guys all together had a synergy.

Same synergy like us Getbiggers!
What would we be without Wes, Soulcrusher, IroNat, Army, Frenzy, Arvilla, Matt C et al?

Is there any noticeable difference?

Is there any noticeable difference?
Not within Jon Bovi, no.
