"A majority of Oregon voters disapprove of the ongoing nightly protests in Portland and believe officers haven’t used enough force in their response, according to a poll released Thursday.
Those findings, released by Portland-based DHM Research, came hours after Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler announced he was ordering Portland police officers to stop using a particularly toxic form of tear gas after lawsuits over its deployment, its repeated use on people not engaged in criminal conduct and some not involved in the protests at all, and widespread demands from the community and elected officials to end the practice.
Most Oregon voters have never directly observed the Portland protests they were surveyed about. Rather, they have learned about them from mediums such as TV, newspapers, social media.
The poll of 502 likely voters was conducted from last Thursday to Tuesday. Nearly half of the participants said they lived in either Multnomah, Clackamas or Washington counties. Another quarter of them live elsewhere in the Willamette Valley and the rest are from other parts of the state. The results have a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points."

A suspect arrested last evening for starting a brush fire was arrested again after he started 6 more small fires.
On Monday, September 14, 2020 at 3:37a.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched with Portland Fire and Rescue to a report of multiple fires burning along the west side of the I-205 freeway. Portland Fire and Rescue extinguished three of them while passing community members put out the other three. All were caught early. No one was injured and no structures were burnt. Officers located Domingo Lopez, Junior walking along the shoulder and arrested him. They seized a lighter as evidence.
Lopez was transported to a hospital on a Police Officer Hold for a mental health evaluation. He was issued citations for 6 additional counts of Reckless Burning.

The majority disapprove of the violence, looting, and rioting. That makes perfect sense but do they make the connection that these are led by Leftist organizations? Do they see any connection to the fact that these cities are all runned by Democrats and many of them have not condemned the rioting and have done nothing about it when Trump proved he can end it in a day? Do you make that connection?

Thanks for posting the book link. I read the entire book. More precisely, I had text-to-speech on my computer read it back to me while I worked, but I absorbed the info just the same.
He wrote about so many things that parallel the manipulation going on today. It's the same basic playbook. In chapter 10's embedded article "A World View Of Race" they write about supremacy and privilege, obviously meaning "White supremacy" and "White privilege". They also talk about dissolving that "privilege and supremacy" and replacing it with an "international order and community", referring to to globalism, or more ideally(for them) a one-world government under Communist rule. Trump is so reviled because reviving Nationalism is the opposite of the trend towards consolidating power under world government aka globalism.
Trump's "Americanism, not Globalism. That is out credo" ideology is what all the well-funded chaotic backlash is really about.
