Is it possible he was carrying and so would have had an option is the sh1t had gone south..?

That was cool. Even if he was carrying the punk already had his gun out and I would be more nervous trying to chance it with him right there. If he really had a gun it would make more sense to duck for cover so he couldn't be seen and then pull his piece and take a shot while the guy was robbing the register. Pissing the guy off and baiting by staying in his chair smoking a cig was more risky and took some balls. With all the crazies out there that have no value for human life I wouldn't do that. Why take the risk?
