This is what two boxers who just had a fight in 110 rounds look like!
Yes, you read 110 rounds correctly (7h 19m of fighting).
It was April 6, 1893, Andy Browen vs. Jack Burke.
The fight ended in No-Contest because at the round 111 the fight was stopped as two exhausted boxers were unable to get up from the stool to resume the fight.
This is of course the longest boxing fight in history! (even longer than Goodrum VS Vissy)

Damn, that's incredible! Can you imagine how sore they would have been the next day?

I'm just amazed that they survived.
Wonder how long their brains functioned decently after that.
Punch Drunk Parkinsons of Peace?

I'll bet that fight was boring as hell to watch, just like those old time wrestling matches.

Can you post a link. This is a keeper. Helio Gracie, at over 50 years old, once fought a former student for over 3 hours but most of that time they were just in the guard position much like the early Shamrock/Royce snooze fest.

those two lack power...
-
Muhammad Ali in the background just waiting for his shot!

I don't have any footage from the fight since my cellphone was on repair at the time.

Damn.

Rounds were 1 minute back then.

How could Andy Bowen breath for 7 hours with his pants pulled up that high?
-
they would have needed Rainman if the went to the score cards.

I was watching two black guys boxing. I was ringside and a black guy watching with me turns and says, "Nothing like two brothers beating the hell out each other to entertain white guys drinking beer." I wonder if there was a black guy watching this fight thinking, This is great!

Yes, Blacks are not a recent invention.

I mean, were they allowed to watch Boxing-matches together with whites back then?
Thought they were treated worse in 1890s than in 1940s but maybe i am wrong (not american)

It doesn't matter how you are treated outside the ring in boxing.
