Here in Batshit Insane Thunder Bay, Ontario, I went to Indigo [a Canadian chain bookstore...not sure if they have these in the USA - it used to be called Chapters, which I think was Canadian for sure] on Friday with a friend. The female security guard threatened to call the police on me if I didn't put on a mask. This was after I calmly explained to her that I have a medical condition, preventing me from wearing a mask.
She told me she was going to call the police, and I just went around, looking for the horror section [I wanted to buy a 1980's horror novel by Stephen King - one that he wrote while high as a kite on cocaine, Xanax, alcohol, and cigarettes]. I was with a friend, who went elsewhere, momentarily.
I came back to the front with my friend, and she also found a Stephen King book for me, on sale ["The Institute", but sounds newer, in Stephen King's shit-lib stage...so I decided to leave emptyhanded]. While my friend went to check out, the female security guard came up to me again, and told me if I didn't leave she would call the police. I said "Didn't you say you called the police the other time you talked to me?" She said nothing. She then went to the phone - I suspect the non-emergency police line in Thunder Bay - and by that time, my friend had what she needed, and we just left.
Like it or not - autism IS a valid medical condition to reject mask-wearing. It's a stimulation disorder, which for me, mainly gives me super-hearing [I can hear people talking in a normal conversation voice even if they are upstairs - I'm 38, but my ears are about 20 years old, based on hearing tests]. Even though mask-wearing is not necessarily a problem for me - that's not the point. Autism, much like claustrophobia, or even OCD, IS a valid reason to not wear a stupid, USELESS mask.
And in 2016, a psychologist had me do an autism test, and wrote me a letter/diagnosis, stating I have it.
SO.
I DO have a valid medical excuse not to wear a mask, and - OH, WHAT'S THIS?:
When you don’t have to wear a face covering
Health and accommodations
You do not need to wear a face covering if you:
- have a medical condition that inhibits your ability to wear a face covering
- are unable to put on or remove your face covering without help from someone else
- are receiving accommodations according to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 or the Human Rights Code
https://www.ontario.ca/page/face-coverings-and-face-masks
WELL SHIT.
AND, in Canada it's illegal to ask anyone what their medical condition is. Which makes sense. Could you IMAGINE living in a society where women are forced to tell any employee at any store whether or not they have menstrual cramps? And THAT'S why this law can't/won't be changed. Unless they changed it to only allow exceptions for masks. Personally, I don't give a sh*t telling anyone/everyone I have autism [I DO post under my real name after all, and have been "racist" using my real name for 13+ years now], but I would rather NOT go around telling random strangers and female security guards [LMAO...could you imagine Getbig's own Karen, Miss Chest Shit, as a female security guard? Haha, just the concept of a female-ran society makes me laugh...they ultimately end up calling men to arrest you anyway!].
But anyway, this happened YET AGAIN yesterday at a smaller bookstore in town.
Once AGAIN I explained to the guy at the front desk that I didn't need to wear a mask because I was medically exempt. This time, I told HIM
I AM SO F*CKING SICK OF HAVING TO EXPLAIN THIS SH*T.
And I'm tired of being the ONLY one doing this. Apparently in British Columbia, 20% of people are protesting masks at stores by saying they are not valid. I think CBC shouldn't have given that number. I watched that, and I was like "1 in 5? The number is probably at least 2 in 5 then, since most people just STFU and comply."
OH - AND...at Indigo, there was a small crowd that gathered around me while I was telling the female security guard that I wasn't legally obligated to wear a mask. One person said "I work in a medical office, and if you have a doctor's note, you don't need to wear a mask." Another guy said "You don't even need a note - no one can legally ask you what the reason is for your exemption."
HAHAHAHA. And even then - I have a note from my psychologist.
Anyway, is anyone else here protesting this COVID BS, or just talking a big talk? I'm finding that even alpha males are going along with this, which annoys the hell out of me. And if you are protesting, how are you doing it?
I wish someone with a large YouTube reach could say "Anyone who disagrees with the mask fake mandate BS [since it's actually voluntary pretty much everywhere], should wear a red mask." That way, if we go out and see 70% of people in red masks, we will ALL know how many of us don't care about this mask garbage. And then we [those who understand that masks are just a way for elites to see which of us submit to the state] will just stop wearing masks. I am CONFIDENT based on the Like to Dislike ratio and the comments on YouTube videos from CBC, CTV, Global[ist] News, and other Canadian news outlets, that most people ARE NOT buying into this.
So how do we do anything about this, before they roll out a mandatory mRNA COVID vaccine?

I don't protest wearing a mask. Not worth the hassle.
People wore masks during the 1918 flu epidemic. It only makes sense.
Where I live you can just say you have a medical condition and they have to allow you not to wear a mask. No proof required.

My 10 year has autism and can wear a mask you pansie.

And walking outside.
There's a 30's guy in my neighborhood who walks around by himself wearing a mask.
I guess his Mommy told him to.
Looks like a typical libtard geek.

Cracks me up seeing the retards driving around wearing a mask, comical stuff.
And yes, the folks out for a healthy solo walk.
I saw 2 brain-dead neighbors, sitting in lawn chairs, 6-feet from across from each other wearing masks having a conversation/get together. ::)
Wow, the brain-deads just do as their told like mindless sheeple that they are.
I had a lady in from of me at the store with her hand out toward me like "stay back" as I was like 3-4 feet from her.
I kept inching FWD, she kept inching away looking around in panic. LOL. My god. ::)
Then she gets in line and is back to back with me anyways as I'm in the aisle right with her. (And she had no issue being ass to ass once we reach registers).

There are still real men in the world.
There's a house in a neighborhood a few streets from me where the local Getbiggers hang out.
Maybe ten 60-70 year old guys hanging out maskless in the driveway in lawn chairs drinking beer with hard rock music playing loud.
I always find it humorous to see 60-70 year old men listening to Deep Purple. Even though I'm 62 guys that old look more like my dad.
My dad liked swing music from the 1940s.

The 1918 flu epidemic is a lousy example. It wasn't the virus that caused the deaths; it was bacterial pneumonia, which of course didn't have any cure because antibiotics were yet to be invented. We now have them. So why wear a mask? The pneumonia bacterium is everywhere- always has been, always will be.
In 2020, it's car crashes, heart attacks, stage 4 cancer and anything else you can think of that kills you - but the death certificate still says Covid, lol

So...
I know I'm not as strong as half the men who post here, but I was still Thunder Bay's Strongest Manlet a few times, and I'm good at asserting my rights and standing my ground. And when I do, this is what happens [below]?
How exactly are we going to resolve situations like this where even people enforcing the law don't understand the law? I literally had the Ontario law regarding mask coverings on my phone, and showed it to all employees, and both police officers. The female security guard at Indigo refused to read the law directly from the Ontario.ca website when I put it right in front of her. ::)
This time out, only one person said anything - an elderly man who pointed to his face, and said "Where's this?" I think he was Italian - but if not, he was almost definitely speaking English as a second language. But hey - I get that - he's part of the risk group - he looked to be about 70, giving him a staggering 1 in 16 chance of death even if he does get COVID [and that's assuming comorbidities]. Weird that he didn't wear a mask before the TV started telling him too earlier this year. Also, if he's so afraid of dying, why is he not using the curbside pickup service that Indigo has available? ::)
Any suggestions from my Getbig bros? This is both a tragedy and a comedy to me - Canada CANNOT sustain $1B in DAILY deficit spending - and other equally insane countries are spending roughly proportional amounts on fighting this terrifying virus with a 99.7%+ overall survival rate that kills people who are on average 84.8 years old, and with 2-3 separate health comorbidities. I'm starting to wonder if this is all just a weird dream.
I find this a little beyond annoying, but I have no idea how this is going to change.
Ontario law:
https://www.ontario.ca/page/face-coverings-and-face-masks
Thunder Bay municipal law - virtually a repeat of the above law, but leans a little more towards providing documentation for your exemption [something that I CAN do]:
https://www.tbdhu.com/mandatorymasksFAQs
[my phone battery was low, but I'll replace this photo with one with the flash on once it's fully charged]:
-
Matt, please hang yourself.
-
If Canada goes bankrupt a Getbigger will buy it and let you keep living in Thunder Bay.
Not to worry!
-
I would wear a mask anywhere if Ron would put in a 50-word limiter on Matty Aspy’s posts.
-
Matt, please hang yourself.
I'll try to reduce my post size if that's what you're driving at, but it's just a matter of typing fast. So literally, within a few minutes of typing, I have a novel.
If your post is a matter of worrying about Covid-19, does this stand to reason that you are pro-mask, or otherwise in an at-risk group for dying of COVID? The latter I can empathize with, but it's not just a matter of wearing a mask - the small and medium business sector has lost $200 billion thus far and counting, while the 2,604 global billionaires of increased their net wealth by $1 trillion.
As of September 23rd of this year, 2,627 Canadians under the age of 70 have died of Covid-19 out of a population of 32,921,409 who are in that age range.
That's 0.00798% of the population under 70.
Put another way, that means 99.992% of the Canadian population under 70 has thus far survived this global pandemic.
Not to mention the fact that Canada has gone into more debt in one year than in the previous 30 years combined.
Or the fact that the average age of a person dying of Covid-19 globally is 84.8 years old, which is higher than the human life expectancy in every country in the world, including Hong Kong, which has the highest global combined-gender life expectancy at 84.7.
Or the fact that Canada is accruing $1 billion in deficit spending daily could be used to literally build ten hospitals each day to deal with Covid-19 at a cost of $100 million per hospital - or we could save 1,000 Canadians daily who need health procedures costing $1 million. Procedures such as organ transplants which add decades to a person's life. Meanwhile, 94% of people are already dead by the average age a person dies of Covid-19. Would you be scared of a virus that kills people who average 94.8 years old, rather than 84.8? How about 100 years old? How about 110 years old? Would you still be afraid of such a virus?
...
Anyway, I'm not, but the fact that lawyers and police don't seem to understand the law is sort of a big deal to me.
Either way, this can't go on for another 18 months, or the entire world will be bankrupt.
But then again...maybe that's the point.
-
I would wear a mask anywhere if you would put in a 50-word limiter on Matty Aspy’s posts.
That actually sounds about right.
I've been telling myself that for almost four years now. I think I'm going to start that, starting now.
I put the over/under of me lasting a day at about 50%. But I'll give it a shot.
^43 words. Ok, maybe 0.5%.

Exactly my thoughts. That's what I like about you, epic - you stand your ground.
Sometimes standing one's ground is not good. I've seen dumb people do it at completely inappropriate times [like in 2013, when Reese Witherspoon was arrested on video for drinking and driving, and apparently felt that her celebrity status qualified her to do so], but this is not just a matter of "Just wear a mask". The entire world is literally heading towards complete economic collapse, and doing it voluntarily. We're hand-washing so much, that we're not even giving our immune systems a chance to work. It's like people don't even realize we have immune systems.
It's like a tragicomedy to me...but maybe leaning more towards tragedy.
-
germs dont matter
money does
once people lose it all no one will give a shit about a mask
prepare my nikka

Hahaha, I don't even think I can. :D
I try to manage my autism for the comfort for others by adjusting where I sense universal effectiveness in doing so. One rule I generally stick to on Getbig is not to START threads. Thread hijacking is one thing - board hijacking is next level, in terms of lack of online/board etiquette.
The tragedy of my life [and an aspect of many autistics] is that I mainly speak out on things that I sense many people refuse to speak out on out of fear. On YouTube, I literally post next to nothing, whereas while using my real name online, I post all the time. It's because online - where people are given the protection of anonymity - they are not as afraid to speak their minds.
I commented on this video just for kicks, but check the Like to Dislike ratio, and read the comments. Everyone is already saying what I want to say, so I don't have much of a need to say anything:
-
I've made several masks that technically comply with the mask mandate, but allow for actual breathing, like out of cheesecloth or with slits cut in them so that I can get into places that require a mask (like the gym).
Got one funny look from front desk girl, but she let me pass. Several gym members complimented me on it.
-
I wear a mask only when I go into an establishment that requires them. Here in NM they will call the Cops immediately if you come inside without a mask and refuse to leave. Many larger stores have real Cops sitting out front checking to make sure you have a mask. I've only seen one altercation over a mask, the Cop was being really nice about it and i could tell he didn't really want to deal with it, but he arrested a man for refusing to leave a grocery store after being told to leave multiple times.
I travel for work a lot and each place is different, some places don't enforce the mask mandates at all, while others are extremely strict about it.
I see people driving with them every day, walking their dog outside with a mask. Even the local news reporters wear the mask while being on camera outside with nobody else around. It's a bit silly.
The last 4 months i've been on a plane 6 times, it's funny how serious some people take it. There was a guy wearing a full blown respirator mask on the plane, like the ones you wear around toxic chemicals. One lady had a real hazmat suit on. Another lady wouldn't touch anything on the plane unless she wiped it with a Clorox wipe first.
Oddly enough, at my office it is taken very seriously. The guy who takes it the most serious and barely even leaves his house got the Rona a few weeks ago. Go figure.
I'm not worried about it, but i'm not much for protesting something that really doesn't bother me at all. But i don't have to wear one all day long like some people. Protesting the mask mandate at this point is a little silly. I think some people are just looking for attention.

LOL!! Sorry to laugh, but your post reminds me of my first post on EliteFitness - in 2001. Someone quoted it, and the next guy replied "Geez - reading Matt's post the first time was enough of a chore, but you quoting it and me reading the whole thing again was pure torture", haha.
Oddly enough...I think the guy actually did read my posts twice. I feel I have decent content, but I can't get a flipping handle on post length. I seriously need to make it a top three new year's resolution, after general health and lifestyle stuff.
Walter - what I like about your posts is that you get straight to the point. As long as you are like that in real life, and are a good judge of knowing when to turn that on or off, I think it's a good quality people have. Normally, I feel like I'm surrounded by peasants obeying a monarchy.

I just saw some daft cu nt jogging in one
Haha, oh FFS. I didn't realize my younger sister lives in England now with her English husband, and she said things are way more insane in Canada than over there.
I hope that's true.
A few hours back, I was talking to my dad about having the police called on me today - he told me he had the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. fight, and asked me if I wanted it on a thumb drive. I said yes, and opened it, only to find the thumbnail for the fight below. ::)
So literally the most dominant alpha males in human history wearing a bacteria-laden face thongs - did everyone's balls just drop off?
I'm looking forward to watching this fight tonight...although given how long it took Mike Tyson to take his t-shirt off at the weigh-ins, I'm not expecting much. I wish we get get a time machine to put prime Tyson against UFC's JON Jones today.

Matt, is managing your autism kind of like giving a guy 1/2 a blowjob?
Because it sure looks like you get halfway and then say “fuck it, I might as well finish.”
NOT that I would know anything about giving blowjobs, but I would say that I do say that.
What's with all these stories online of "straight" guys giving blowjobs...isn't the correct term "bisexual"? The more articles I read, the more I feel like I am the only straight man on the planet. Since autism tends to be associated with extremely masculine things [not necessarily "tough" things, but just how chess and physics are both dominated by men], I thought autism would be correlated with heterosexuality.
Apparently the opposite is true.
But I am just barely on the spectrum. Max, I am one point in. Getbiggers can test themselves here - it's a valid test:

Matt, the main two things you need to know about your post content:
(1) No one gives a monkey fuck about your opinion.
(2) No one cares one iota about what goes on in Thunder Bay Ontario.
From now on think of scrubbing your posts in the way I read an ESFitness or PrimePedo post, “first I skip over the bullshit and then I skip over the liberal stupidity and gayness”, once I’ve done that I read what is left.
Try posting that way you spastic muppet.

Matt, please hang yourself.

Covid mortality rate is 1.96% last time I checked.
112,000 cars cross the Golden Gate bridge daily. The average car carries 1.7 passengers.
If the mortality rate for crossing the Golden Gate bridge was also 1.96% then 3,731 people would die crossing it per day.
I don't know about the rest of you getbiggers, but I'd take the ferry instead. Or, wear a mask and stop whining.
-
You should “ mask up “and not drive across the bridge
Jump off
Then you don’t have to be afraid anymore
-
Not afraid personally. I'm afraid for others. I'd like to see everyone make the smallest of sacrifices. Mask up. Stay home. Get carry out (which will help support businesses). Stop whining. Be positive and get back to some semblance of normal. Not sure how "poking the bear" is benefitting anyone.
-
Why didn’t you mask up in December of last year ?
You got me sick
Completely irresponsible of you
Oh and I am the bear
You hypochondriac
Sheep like you are destroying the economy

You are out of your element Donnie

And jump off that bridge
-

Only if everyone in the cars is more than 70 years old and has underlying health issues.
You’re full of shit and you deliberately post bullshit.
Even with underlying conditions the IFR for Covid 19 is only 75 people per 100,000 at an average age of 40-50 per the latest CDC figures.
Liberals...liars and hypocrites.

Except he's right. Also, your ferry analogy involves making a cost/benefit analysis regarding an alternative option.
That implies that liberals have the cognitive ability to control for more than one variable.
Your analogy is more akin to stating that out of 190,400 people who get into car accidents on the Golden Gate Bridge [112,000 multiplied 1.7 - the numbers you gave], that 3,731 of those accidents will be fatalities.
But not everyone gets into a car accident. And as it turns out, living in a free society involves interacting with other people, and taking risks sometimes. Also, Democrats don't seem to be aware that people eventually die.
My intuition tells me that people left of centre tend to be more outgoing - this could be completely wrong [just as my previous view that autistic men were less likely to be homosexual was wrong], but if I am correct, I suspect it will ultimately be leftists who go crazy due to further lockdowns sooner than right-wing people do.
And I don't see these revolving lock-downs or any of this stuff ending any time soon.

Never mentioned car accident. Merely crossing the bridge. Try to keep up Rainman.

For me, it's primarily this one. It's an issue based on how fast I churn out words on a keyboard.
I suspect I can get a grip on it, to the point that my posts will only be 3x the average size, as opposed to 6x.

lmfao

In grade 9, my friend called me that, but I didn't get it - I didn't watch the movie, and I didn't know what autism was. I had memorized the complete schedules of all 300+ grade 9 students, 50% of the grade 10 students, and about 15-20% of the grade 11's.
In reality, doing that was easy as shit, since all grade nine courses were mandatory at the time [advanced placement stream did not start until grade 10], so there were only really four basic templates for schedules shared by over 300 freshman students.
Normal people find that sort of calculating impressive. It's almost laughable for me to think about that. But I guess looking at it another way, memorizing the schedules of something like 310 to 330 students just in my grade level probably seemed impressive to someone who doesn't understand how limiting the math is there.
Incidentally, a combination lock should be called a permutation lock because in a combination order doesn't matter, which means 3-29-15 is the same as 15-3-29. Since obviously this order does matter for a combination lock, it's actually a permutation lock [where order does matter].
^ You can skip all that. Anyway, what I meant was that your comparison takes car crashes and deaths, but a more analogous example would be to consider that not everyone gets into a car crash to begin with:
Covid-19 deaths < Covid-19 cases < Total population [since not everyone will get Covid-19 to begin with].
Just like:
Car accident deaths < Car accidents < People driving cars.
Yeah, there's around the 1.96% chance of death that you cited, but [1] the average person dying of COVID is 84.8 years old and has 2-3 separate health comorbidities, and [2] so far in Canada, only 1 in 96 people have gotten this virus. Given this number was 1 in 297, it's becoming more obvious that everyone who is going to get this virus will get this virus before an actual properly-tested vaccine will be available.
But who is to say - not everyone gets seasonable influenza. Maybe the rate of virus spread will max out where it is now. Even if it continues, you're ultimately afraid of a virus that kills people who are at an average age and health status where 94% of people are already dead. ::)

Thank you. I will. I feel like I need a personal moderator for my online posts - cut them by 85% and I think they would be fine.
Good night, good sir.

I had memorized
what type of volume can u memorize?
could u, for instance.. memorize the complete new testament of the kjv bible?
-
If a liberal gets crazy with u for not having a mask on just say “your body your choice, or is that just for killing babies”

Nice meltdown. homo.
Liberal phaggots like you can never decide if they want to be bullshitters or suckers of cock, obviously you have decided to be both.
Imagine being so pathetic that the highlight of your day is to anonymously go online and lie to a bunch of strangers? That is beyond XFACTOR level of lame.
-
Never wear a faggoty mask
Never social distance
If anyone ever says one word to you spit in their face and punch them in the throat
Start fights with any maskers
History will call you a hero. History will be on your side. History will tell this pathetic story correctly.

What a dusgusting low life you are.
I realy hate those people, they stand 2 inch behind you in the supermarket.
If you tell them to go away they start to play stupid games.
Makes me angry, and if someone would spit in my face..

The world is not black and white and you are not a hero. (laughable :D)
