Justice Department’s interest in Hunter Biden covered more than taxes
The federal investigation into Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been more extensive than a campaign statement indicates, according to a person with firsthand knowledge of the investigation. On Wednesday, Hunter Biden said he had been contacted about a tax investigation out of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware.
In addition to Delaware, the securities fraud unit in the Southern District of New York also scrutinized Hunter Biden’s finances, according to the person with direct knowledge of the investigation. The person said that, as of early last year, investigators in Delaware and Washington were also probing potential money laundering and Hunter Biden’s foreign ties. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
In addition to the probe into Hunter Biden, federal authorities in the Western District of Pennsylvania are conducting a criminal investigation of a hospital business in which Joe Biden’s brother James was involved. Federal officials have asked questions about James Biden’s role in the business, according to a second person with direct knowledge of that investigation, who said it remains ongoing.
The investigation of Hunter Biden has dealt primarily with his financial ties to foreign figures and businesses, according to the person familiar with it. In a standard practice for tax investigations, the Tax Division at Main Justice in Washington has also been involved in the probe, the person said.
In recent years, Hunter Biden has served on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, whose founder faced allegations of corruption, and did legal work for Gabriel Popoviciu, a Romainian businessman accused of corruption.
Hunter Biden has also pursued deals with Chinese oil magnate Ye Jianming and an associate of Ye’s, Patrick Ho. In 2018, Ho was convicted in the Southern District of New York of violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act over his attempts to bribe government officials in Chad and Uganda.
Another business partner of Hunter Biden’s, Devon Archer, was convicted in 2018 in the Southern District of New York on unrelated fraud charges. Bank records showing foreign payments to Hunter Biden surfaced as a part of that case.
After a judge overturned Archer’s conviction in late 2018 (an appeals court reinstated the conviction last month), prosecutors in the SDNY securities fraud unit revisited Archer’s case and began last year to scrutinize those foreign payments to Hunter Biden, looking for signs of money laundering, according to the person with firsthand knowledge of the investigation. But after conferring with prosecutors in Delaware, whose investigation was already well underway and acknowledged Wednesday by Hunter Biden, prosecutors in the SDNY securities fraud unit ceased their probing without opening a separate, formal investigation, the person said.
Hunter Biden has also faced recent tax problems. In July, the District of Columbia levied a $453,000 lien against him for unpaid state taxes, which he quickly satisfied, according to D.C. tax records accessed through the database service Nexis. The lien was first reported by the Washington Free Beacon.
FBI agents, meanwhile, have been asking about James Biden’s dealings with the hospital company Americore Health, an operator of rural hospitals, as part of an investigation based out of the Western District of Pennsylvania, according to the person with direct knowledge of that investigation.
In late January, FBI agents raided an Americore hospital in Ellwood City, Pa., and carted off boxes. The raid, which has been previously reported, followed crippling dysfunction at the hospital.

I understand Hunter is a piece of work and no doubt used the fact his father was VP to gain access to jobs and connections he wouldn't otherwise have. If he violated any laws, I'm all for him being held accountable. I would like to see from a neutral source as this progresses, whether Joe Biden participated in any wrong doing. Being related to a jerk isn't a crime or all of Trumps family would be in jail. I'm open to looking at the information as the investigation progresses.

The wait and see approach makes sense.
But we do know a few things.
We know there were big efforts to squash this story by the media and big tech (if anyone read the Greenwald articles I posted they'd see the magnitude). We know that ex government and current Democrats made efforts to call the laptop "russian disinformation", and that turned out to be entirely incorrect.
And we know Biden said "he never met" any of Hunter's business partners and then had to have his team clarify it as "never had them on the calendar officially".
Given all that, only partisan TDS infected hacks don't see this as something that needs a thorough, independent investigation.

New documents reported by Fox News Wednesday offer more details into a $10 million deal outlined between Hunter Biden and Chinese businessmen with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party, adding fuel to ongoing scandals plaguing President-elect Joe Biden, big tech, and big media.
According to correspondence obtained by Fox, Hunter Biden reportedly offered his “best wishes from the entire Biden family” to CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming in 2017 and urged the Chinese business partner with deep ties to the Chinese Communist Party to wire over $10 million to “properly fund and operate” a joint Biden venture.
“I hope my letter finds you well. I regret missing you on your last visit to the United States,” Hunter Biden wrote in a June letter. “Please accept the best wishes from the entire Biden family as well as my partners.”
In the same letter, Biden continued to note Tony Bobulinski, a Biden business partner-turned whistleblower this year, requested the $10 million dollar transfer from Ye’s associates.
“I would appreciate if you will send that quickly,” Biden wrote, to fund the Biden-led firm Sinohawk in partnership with Bobulinski who would serve as CEO.
Later emails responding to Hunter Biden reviewed by Fox dated in July show the Chinese chairman enthusiastically arranging for Biden’s request working to “expedite” the transfer.
The correspondence is dated just before emails published by the New York Post in October show Chairman Ye outlining a $10 million annual contract for Hunter Biden for “introductions alone,” a portion of which would be slated aside for President-elect Joe Biden funneled through Hunter.
Fox News’ blockbuster revelations gives further credibility to the Post’s earlier reporting this year, which was dismissed by corporate media who adopted Democratic talking points to chalk up the stories as Russian disinformation, and suppressed by big tech engaging in election interference in the final days leading up to the November contest.

Trump screwed himself when he spoke out against mail in ballots. Had more republicans mailed their ballots instead of skipping the vote altogether, without a doubt, Trump would have done better.

Yes Trump got more votes this time around. Biden got more votes than Obama did and Obama got a lot. Both the 2020 candidates broke records. The entire election broke records for voter turn out. Like I said, people were and are passionate about this election.
One of the complaints I've heard from the losing side is that Biden's votes came in late, meaning after the polls closed. Since mail in ballots are frequently the last to get counted, it makes sense that Biden pulled ahead when he did. Anything can happen. That doesn't mean it does happen. States run their elections according to their state law which varies from state to state. In Oregon, all ballots must be in by 8:00 p.m. on election night when the polls close. Counting the vote continues until all those votes are counted. Oregon is an early reporter of the results for a couple of reasons, including what I just wrote and the fact that Oregon's voting population isn't ginormous like say California or New York might be. Many states count mail in ballots last.
In roughly 20 states the tallying of mailed ballots received after Election Day is explicitly allowed and legitimate. No presidential election has had all the votes counted the same day and there is no law or even expectation that that should be the case. Often, big cities are slower to report their numbers, and those votes tend to skew Democratic. Trump urged his supporters in advance to avoid mail-in voting and to vote in person either early or on Election Day. Michigan voting procedures were carried out according to authorized guidelines.
The bottom line is that every state certified the results and the electors voted accordingly on December 14th. Congress counts the electoral votes and announces the results on January 6th. This process is mainly ceremonial. Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th. Who knows how long some people will continue to say the election was stolen? My guess is for as long as other people will listen.

The 66% number is based off of 239 million ELIGIBLE voters, not the actual numbers of REGISTERED voters. ;) The 120 million number is what that site claims is the actual registered voter role for all parties combined.

The next several years are likely to reopen the floodgates to leftists’ long repurposing of public schools to indoctrinate children with lies about sex. According to leftist reporting, once in office Joe Biden plans to quickly use executive power to push transgenderism in schools, farther than President Obama did. In Congress, Democrats plan to prioritize legislation to do the same, potentially with Republican support, with the so-called Equality Act and more.
On Nov. 7, Biden was reportedly the first candidate to mention transgenderism in his speech claiming he had won the presidency. This is only the tip of the iceberg. On the campaign trail, Biden promised to reinstate President Obama’s requirement that public schools put boys in girls’ sports and showers, and push this issue much more.
“I will flat out just change the law, eliminate those executive orders. There should be zero discrimination,” Biden said of Trump’s transgender policies in October to the mother of an eight-year-old child she claims is transgender.
“Joe Biden said that on his first day of office, he will give transgender students access to sports, bathrooms and locker rooms in accordance with their gender identity in all federally funded schools,” (emphasis added) a reporter said to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer after the election, in December. “Do you think he has the ability to do this and do you agree with his decision?”
“I agree with the decision and I know he’ll check things out thoroughly, legally,” Schumer responded.
In its “LGBTQ Policy” document, Biden’s campaign states:
On his first day in office, Biden will reinstate the Obama-Biden guidance revoked by the Trump-Pence Administration, which will restore transgender students’ access to sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms in accordance with their gender identity. He will direct his Department of Education to vigorously enforce and investigate violations of transgender students’ civil rights.
Many Ways to Screw Children When Adults Don’t Care
Now let’s refresh what we’ve already seen in schools with the encouragement of the Obama administration and leftist judges, which Biden has openly promised to revive. Some of this would happen without federal pressure, but there is no doubt that federal pressure accelerates and expands this publicly funded assault on children.
Schools keeping minors’ transgenderism secret from parents. Public school systems that get “caught” by parents for implementing Democrat-compliant transgender policies typically include secrecy from parents. Refusing parents knowledge or consent to these policies is explicitly recommended by the private LGBT advocacy organizations that both write the model policies for these schools and the regulations that emanate from Democrat executives. Schools also routinely group LGBT instruction outside of “sex ed” to avoid the numerous state laws that require parent information and consent to sexual instruction. Deception is a major part of their strategy.
Forcing male coaches to watch naked female students. This sounds insane — and it is — but it already happened in Florida. The school board ignored outraged parents. Two years later, parents still have not gotten their school board to change its policy of giving a female transgender student access to the boys’ showers, which a male coach was required to supervise as part of his job.
Schools helping minors access drugs for HIV-positive sex without parent knowledge. Yes, that happened too, and it’s certainly not an isolated occurrence. The drug, PrEP, is distributed by Planned Parenthood and other LGBT organizations that often work with Gay-Straight Alliances in public schools.
Preschoolers and other young children targeted. Illinois, California, Colorado, New Jersey, and Oregon require LGBT instruction in all public schools. Kindergarteners have come home sobbing about the possibility of turning into boys after a transgender lesson. An Illinois school district complying with these policies taught preschoolers about polyamorous families, teen sex changes, and more. A Minnesota family forced their public school with lawsuits to teach about transgenderism to five-year-olds and allow their transgender kindergartener to cross-dress at school, all without the school being allowed to inform fellow parents beforehand.
Transgender teachers in elementary school, some lecturing prepubescent captive audiences of children about their sex changes.
If you don’t think this is twisted, you are. If you believe in the legitimacy of any politician, institution, or school that is willing to countenance any of this, you are a morally bankrupt fool.
All of this will be accelerated under a Biden administration. This is not conjecture. He and his campaign have publicly pledged to do it.
I would like every “principled” whitewashed tomb of a pundit who told us Biden was “the moral choice” to stick all this up their pipes and light it on fire. They are willing to sacrifice school girls’ bodies for their pride. That is beneath contempt.
Creepy Obsession with Naked Kids
Since Democrats are used to zero effective pushback from their neutered political opposition, they make many of their most insane plans quite public. So we can predict quite clearly how Biden’s administration plans to expand upon the above track record.
In his policy document, Biden pledges to use federal agencies to prosecute schools that do not completely fulfill LGBT demands for putting naked children of both sexes together. He promises to apply the Obama administration’s suspension of school discipline for children of favored racial identity groups also to children of favored sexual behaviors. He promises to use schools to punish teachers and children for saying the truth about the sexes, and indoctrinate them to believe the left’s depraved views of sexuality that conflict with the views of all major world religions.
Biden also promises to excuse minors who identify as LGBT from penalties for committing crimes (yes, that’s really in his plan). He plans to create federal orphanages for LGBT youth who run away from their homes, and put transgender males into shelters for women. This would also be accomplished via the Equality Act that Biden supports and congressional Democrats plan to prioritize immediately upon him taking office.
All schools that receive federal funding, Biden’s plan says, will be required to treat people as the sex they claim to be. This would apply to not just K-12 schools but also preschools and higher education programs that receive federal funding, which is nearly all the nation’s higher education institutions.
This means your freshman daughter could be placed with a male as her college roommate and the Biden administration could prosecute the school if it allows her to switch. It means athletes staying overnight for away games could be forced to room with a kid o the opposite sex without even being informed of that in advance.
Remember, in its “Overnight Housing” section in the Obama Title IX regulations Biden pledges to reinstate, “a school must allow transgender students to access housing consistent with their gender identity and may not require transgender students to stay in single-occupancy accommodations or to disclose personal information when not required of other students. ”
Leftist Religion Makes War On Ancient Religions
If the Biden administration truly does apply this to all institutions that receive federal funding, these transgender diktats will apply to most private and religious institutions as well. Numerous private K-12 schools participate in federal programs such as school lunch. Numerous religious institutions that deal with children, such as foster and adoption agencies, camps, after-school care, and preschools, could also be affected.
Another avenue a Biden administration could use to force-feed children sexual confusion is the accreditation process. Colleges cannot receive federal funds, including student loans, which are now essentially nationalized, if they are not accredited through a federally approved agency. The accreditation process is already used to control colleges’ curricula and campus atmosphere by requiring institutionalized racism and sexism such as through quotas. It can also be used to force schools to transgender students.
Leftists have already been exploring this avenue. A California bill “would have pulled state and federal college subsidies from students who attend religious colleges unless those colleges strip their distinctive religious practices, especially in the areas of human sexuality and theology instruction.” The Obama administration also considered accreditation and personnel regulations that would have forced religious colleges to lie about God or lose federal funds.
The LGBT organization Human Rights Campaign recently made policy recommendations to the Biden administration that included pulling federal funds from all faithful Christian, Muslim, and Jewish institutions by banning their beliefs through the accreditation process. If a school is not accredited, its students may not benefit from the GI bill, transfer credits, or apply for graduate study, noted Southern Baptist Theological Seminary leader Al Mohler.
“This would mean abandoning biblical standards for teaching, hiring, admissions, housing, and student life. It would mean that Christian schools are no longer Christian,” he wrote.
Leftist activists have spent the Trump administration projecting their bigotry onto religious schools, starting controversies over the fact that parents use vouchers to pick schools for their children that don’t subscribe to leftist sexual ideology. A year ago, Wells Fargo and Fifth Third banks pulled millions of dollars in donations from scholarships for poor black children because those children’s parents had chosen to use them in Christian schools. Numerous “journalists” have been using their platforms to get Christian schools defunded this way by slandering their religious beliefs as “bigoted.” Expect all this to intensify and get federal assistance.
Many More Kids Are Going to Need Lots of Therapy
Don’t forget, the Supreme Court handed Biden another accelerant to this entire agenda by rubber-stamping the Obama bureaucracy’s garbage interpretation of the word “sex” as including the ridiculous concept of “gender identity.” The evil consequences will be applied to all religious and reality-based institutions possible over the next generation — unless Americans refuse to comply with this obviously insane and destructive lie. Any backup from politicians half of us elect would help, but none has so far been forthcoming.
In the absence of moral courage among most parents and politicians, American children continue to suffer. As I’ve noted before, “both earlier and increased exposure to sexual material increases children’s risky behavior — such as unprotected sex, multiple partners, and violence — and damages their mental health.” We’ve seen that in the past several years with growing mental health problems among the young and the unnatural spike in claims of gender dysphoria, especially among teenage girls. They are told to cut off developing breasts and take off-label drugs with life-altering destructive effects.
It seems all even the most energetic parents are willing to do about the prospect of their daughters being naked in a room with a penis, or encouraged to cut their breasts off and take drugs to assist HIV-positive sex, is impotently complain at school board meetings, after which the board votes against them and their school keeps getting its usual tax funding. The majority of parents don’t even do that. All of us continue to pretend institutions that countenance this assault on human nature have any moral legitimacy whatsoever.
It’s no wonder politicians don’t believe parents and grandparents care about little girls’ and boys’ innocence and safety when so few do anything to protect children except maybe yell at Fox News once in a while. Our politicians are just like we are: If they say the right things too many of us excuse their lack of follow-up, and everyone marches home to watch Netflix.
If parents pulled their children from any school where seeing penises and breasts was even a possibility by someone who doesn’t have the same equipment, or where trans ideology was treated as a reasonable or legitimate point of view, this issue would resolve within three months. Democrats would never truly jeopardize their mind fog factories.
But too many Americans are lazy cowards who point fingers about problems instead of doing what it takes to solve them, because solving problems is hard and whining on Facebook is easy. Too many Americans want a nice car, comfy house in the “right neighborhood,” high school sports nostalgia, and frequent eating out more than they want to protect children from being mind raped by sweetly smiling kindergarten teachers and gawked at by emotionally disturbed peers and teachers.
Most likely, there will be backlash. But also most likely, Biden and Democrats will get away with most of this. In fact, they’re counting on it. They’ll all be dead when today’s generation of emotional wrecks grows up and gets nuked by China because the only things they know how to handle are a vibrator, cell phone, and lipstick.

Here is the latest from Hunter Biden’s laptop. Hunter Biden drafted a letter to his ex-wife that he kept on his laptop. In this letter Hunter claimed his ex was drinking wine and smoking pot with friends, including “at Camp David with Michele”. Hunter Biden is a tortured soul. He has longtime problems with alcohol and drugs and he, unfortunately, wrote about these problems and drafted letters to family members complaining about their responses to his issues.
Hunter kept these communications and more on his laptop which he left at a computer repair store. After a certain period of time, Hunter forfeited the rights to his laptop because he never returned to pick it up. This was all spelled out in his contract with the computer repairman. The repairman reported to the FBI that he had Hunter’s laptop and they eventually stopped by and took it. There is no indication that the FBI did anything with the laptop other than hiding it.

I watched Biden's press conference today. I'll refrain from commenting on the substance of what he said in an effort to avoid any conflict with you. I will instead simply address his frailty. One thing that struck me was his voice seemed 'thin' and weak as is often the case with us seniors. He is visually old. I think it is his hair or lack thereof. I see what you mean about line of succession, but that would really apply if POTUS and VP died. I think, though, when Biden leaves office before the end of a term, Harris nominates her replacement VP. When Nixon resigned, Ford nominated Rockefeller as his VP, which the Congress confirmed.
I just learned this: Andrew Johnson served as president without a VP, and other presidents have gone lengthy periods without a VP.

Fueled by the “WallStreetBets” Reddit forum, GameStop’s market value has risen over 466% this week.
Thursday morning, Robinhood, one of the top free trading apps, put restrictions on trading $GME (GameStopCorp.) This action was immediately met with backlash across the internet. One Reddit user, Odin19199, claiming to be an employee of Robinhood, stated that the company was pressured to halt GameStop trading by Sequoia Capital and the White House. These allegations have not been independently confirmed by Breaking911.
In the post, he alleges that he overheard that “Vladimir, yes founder Vladimir [Tenev], and the C-Suite, received calls from Sequoia Capital and the White House that pressured into closing trading on GME.”
The user then goes on to state that he has information and documentation regarding the situation that he is planning to provide to Project Veritas and lawyer Glen Greenwald.
The newly-confirmed Treasury Secretary, Janice Yellen, has financial ties to one of the hedge funds that came to the aid of Melvin Capital, one of the companies that saw large losses after GameStop’s market surge. Yellen’s financial disclosure shows her receiving around $800,000 from Citadel for speaking fees.
White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, stated on Wednesday that Yellen is ‘monitoring’ the GameStop stock situation.
New York Attorney General, Letitia James, released a statement Thursday announcing that “we are aware of concerns raised regarding activity on the Robinhood app,” and that “we are reviewing the matter.”
