I can't speak to the Seagul, but I have known many people, including my late mother-in-law, who maintained that Chevy Chase is a jackass of the highest order. She met the prick in Hawaii, back when she was a bartender slash stripper. He was sloppy drunk and abusive to everyone, threatening the non-compliant with the promise that he was going to come back and "buy the place."
Security saw that he exited the premises' doors head-first, just like in "Casino." :) Chevy didn't come back after that, LOL.

What bar did your mom work at in Hawaii?
Femme Nu? Rock ZA? Or the most popular strip joint on the corner of Kalakaua and Kapiolani ..... the name of which I presently forget.
My main cell phone customers were strippers and bartenders ... plus Korean and 'masseurs' from the Philippines.
I was always paid with $1 bills in plain yellow envelopes, but I'd let the bank teller count it.
They'd work full time for 3 to 4 years ... and return home rich.
And seldom pay their last month's rent.
I bet I had a few beers in your mom-in-laws place of business.
And I could tell ya a number of "Hollywood/Hawaii" stories, but .... then I'd have to kill ya!
But if your in-law ever served me a beer or two or if I ever had one too many in her bar .... I'll tell you some shit that she likely already knows which you may find to be of interest.
