I’ve been seriously contemplating one lately and have test driven a couple and I absolutely love this car.Anyone have or had one and have any input if worth getting one, reliability etc...

Rip off on parts and servicing... I've never driven one but beaten a couple in drag races.
Buy a corvette.

Have owned an RS5 and driven the RS3.
Generally speaking they are pretty reliable but don’t modify them unless you want headaches. There is no unicorn dust in them so servicing at a cheap place is fine. RS3 is young enough to not give you headaches buying used. If buying new I would suggest a used C63 all day long over an RS3. I have a BMW M5 and my wife drives a C63. No comparison to the little cars.

RS3 was an option to me as well when I bought a new car 1.5 years. In my country new ice cars are heavily taxed. C63 is like 60k just tax alone. M5 is like 100k just for taxes. Crazy ;D I chose Mercedes E 300 coupe. Nice car but I would like more power!

what about BMW 140i ? Any of those two cars would be sweet to own

Have driven the 140.
I think the BMW gearbox and 3L TT motor are a sick combination.
The RS3 gets AWD and more power hence a bigger price tag. I’d go an RS3 over a 140 all day long.

Any BMW is sweet to own.
